Man you’ve gotta check out their collab with Cory Wong, featuring a cover of “Thriller”, amongst other Fire numbers. Everything Dirty Loops do is 🔥! Three longtime friends from Sweden, having met in school as well as in music conservatory, trained in classical, jazz, rock, session players from a young age… they’re known for blending absolutely any genre into their own loopified style of music. They exploded the internet in around 2010 with their outrageous covers of well known artists, such as Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance”, Justin Bieber’s “Baby” and a few more, as well as their first original, “Hit Me”. It’ll make you jump out of your seat as well!!! Jonah (vocals, keys) has been singing virtually from age 1. Both his parents are choirmasters in Sweden, and they took him to rehearsals and concert straight from the beginning. He’s also the one who brings a lot of classical music writing and playing to this band. They were first ‘discovered’ and promoted by David Foster, and later changed to Quincy Jones Management. Quincy, who’s a big time fan of Jonah, said of his voice: “….that cat’s got soul, and one of the biggest ranges I’ve ever heard.” He’s just as great a piano player as he is a vocalist. Henrik (bass) is one of the biggest living legends of funk, jazz and everything-else bass playing. His slap technique is unique, and his sense of timing and groove is legendary. He’s worked very closely with Aron, the drummer, over many years, staying on after hours at the con to practice ‘pocket’. Aron? Where do you start?! He co-writes a lot of their songs, including a lot of Henrik’s bass lines, is a master drummer, does the visual editing of all of their music videos, now also composes music for orchestra (his ‘side project’), and is just an all-round musical beast. Watch him play one of the dopest drum solos in their tune “Work Shit Out”! Then there is “Next to You”, a song so funky, groovy and soulful you won’t be even able to stay in your seat ☺️ “Thriller” would be totally worth a listen as well. And yeah, Michael Jackson was a big influence especially on Jonah when he grew up, amongst Stevie Wonder and others. Enjoy the ride my brother, that reaction was LIT! 🔥🔥🔥☺️👍

You have just discovered my favorite band. Every song the put out is fire. I recommend "Work Shit Out" or "Next To You" for your next song from them. I am definitely subscribing to your channel.
