These guys are a jazz fusion supergroup disguised as a pop group. They throw the pop as a bait and then kill you with a outstanding jazz rock fusion performance. HAHA!
My sister-in-law turned me on to Dirty Loops about five years ago. She is one of their biggest fans and went to see them in NYC. She met them and said they were the nicest guys ever. I don't know why they aren't crazy popular in the US because they are phenomenal! Hope they gain more traction with Quincy Jones working with them because they certainly deserve it! 😍
Haven't heard any airplay on Sirius XM yet. Have to play on the jazz station but don't want to classify them there. Where else? Rock stations. Metal? Primus was hard to classify. Maybe Public Radio. Public Radio has gotten so moaxy lately. Let me send something to a jock I know on Public Radio.
Bro it’s crazy your reactions make me feel like I’m in the room with my homeboys watching a video!! We laugh at the same time get up and run off at the same time grab our head at the same time 😂😂
Bahahaha. I had the same reaction. I had to take little breaks to get through this absolute masterpiece. It's like the guys just went away for a year solely to take their individual musicianship to God-like status. In an age of computer produced music it's so inspiring to hear real instruments played at this standard. Great reaction video.
They had to take two years off because they disbanded. We almost lost these geniuses to a bad contract. David Foster had them when they first came out, then they diced to part ways. I was crushed. Then, after two years, Quincy Jones got their contract, and we are blessed to hear them now. Thar's why it took so long.
Music is the thread you Mark the needle! Together you sewed my soul back! Such a sharp taste to what is genius you have and I love your reactions, they are contagious!
Bro! I LOVE your reaction videos! I do the same thing watching videos! I just gotta walk away for a second. I rewind stuff a few dozen times! Lol funny bro.
If you enjoy Dirty Loops you might like Snarky Puppy. I'd suggest either "Lingus" or "What About Me?" from the album We Like It Here. They have videos of them playing live sessions. Lingus is my favorite of the two.
This music is so awesome that I got so relaxed it's amazing I didn't fall asleep with my head on my phone and wake up in the morning and say what happened? Really really good music and you just insist on ROCKING IT !!! ( works for me)
About time you gave us another Dirty Loops reaction bruh!! What about their “World On Fire”, or some of their older songs like “Sayonara Love” or “Where’s The Beat”? EVERYTHING they do is on fire 🔥🔥🔥 So are your reactions 😉👍🔥👍
They are pretty much musical porn. As good as it gets. No wonder Marc looks like he's on the edge of breaking into tears of joy. It's like a 70's Stevie Wonder singing along with the Chick Corea Elektric Band... just with the sole intention of making every listener just lose their shit and sending aspiring and even seasoned musicians into a bout of depression. I guess by now Marc will go by default into his amazement face whenever he hears the words "Dirty Loops". Jonah Nilsson, the singer/keyboardist auditioned to the Swedish version of Idol. He was good, but not nearly as mindblowing as he turned out to be with the other couple of beasts in the band. They are too much, and then a bit more.
Marc, I love you man!! I had the same reaction to this song!!! BTW, I'm an old white dude who's played bass for 40+ years who doesn't give a rat's ass about race, it's about the music!!!! Take care my friend!!!!!!
I recently heard of Dimash when I came upon your reactions videos to them. I had the same reaction. I don't know if you heard her music, but you really need to check out Lindsey Stirling's "I wonder as I wander." Just like Dimash, she is an angel on the Earth and can do things seemingly humanly impossible.
Marc you got check out my daughter on my RU-vid page. She's a singer. A beast. And I'm not saying that just because she's my daughter. She needs to be recording.
