hello guys , for the past few vlogs I have been promoting Ireland and it's beauty and why a one should consider working and living or even just travelling to Ireland. But just like any other country there are Disadvantages of living in a particular county and here are my Top 5 Downsides of Living in Ireland and what is not to like about Ireland

Flights from Ireland to Europe are dirt cheap , it’s the best place to live Europe if you like to travel . Plus no aviation taxes …

I do agree with this one, but for non ~EU we have to apply for a visa every time we travel outside of Ireland which adds to the cost and effort. Thats the only thing 😅

As an Irish person, your vlog doesn't offend at all. It was a fair and reasonable assessment. Accommodation IS hard to source, appointments CAN BE difficult to get, transport availability is not the best (my greatest bug-bear when it comes to accessing medical appointments is actually to do with transport as I live rurally!) and of course, yeah, the weather isn't so nice a lot of the time. The constant rain is very depressing. Also, as an Irish person, I'm angry on your behalf that your residency appointment could not be facilitated, especially since, if you worked here at the height of the pandemic, you literally risked your own life to care for your patients' lives. Thank you for helping to keep our health service functioning. I know it doesn't always function as we hope and deserve, but its saving grace are those who give unselfishly to their vocations as nurses, doctors, kitchen staff, porters, etc.

Thanks for your video it was very interesting. I am from Ireland but now live in Australia and I agree with you on just about everything you said. Agree. The A&E queues and appointments to specialty clinics such as speech and language (about 17 mos waiting time) or even to book for an MRI or things like that will take ages. Parking spaces in the city are either scarce or dear or BOTH. Rental prices are truly astronomical in Dublin, which you’ve mentioned already but I need to say it again for emphasis 😂

Hello!!! I have not lived in Dublin, pero some of my friends do. May areas in Dublin na affordable naman, depends, if youre close to the city centre the more expensive. Sa mga groceries same lang namna, ang difference lang kasi andmi mo pwede mo gawin sa Dublin, dami pwede kainan andmi shops , malls. Tempting. Pero if u stay away from those and find a reasonable proced accomodation, then I think its the same as anywhere else❤️❤️❤️ hope that helps

Is it better to be in Ireland than in UK. Im in UK for 1 year 2 months and considering moving to Ireland as I was attracted with the prospect of obtaining permanent residency in just 2 years. Unlike here in UK wherein you could have it only after 5 years

Hi i am from india. I have autoimmune condition called multiple sclerosis and i have completed my treatment last year(the treatment has 80% success rate). Hi, I’m sorry to hear about your auto immune dx and glad that you’ve finish treatment. I’m not sure to be honest, what to advise you. The healthcare can be costly if you’re coming with a pre existing condition. But that doesn’t mean you can’t pursue masters in Ireland, I guess it’s best to consult your Doctor regarding same.

It’s impossible to find GP,or if you have a toothache,you are in a problem,accommodation impossible to find and expensive,a lot of obstacles.most walls are made out of foam with a ply on each side,so you hear everything.immigrants are problematic and indigenous people can bully you easily.climate is not so bad,not sunny too. Most immigrants don’t like Ireland actually,I didn’t hear one immigrants saying how amazing is to live in Ireland,they are all quite trying to hide that they are not quite happy. It can be very dangerous country as there are no cameras in Irish houses or on streets,you can easily be attacked as there are a lot of sociopath that moved to Ireland.

You should not be biting the hand that feeds you. Ireland and its people are paying your wages, feeding you, housing you. You are only in this country 5 yrs and you are criticising it. I remember when things were a lot easier/simpler back then in the good old days, when we all knew each other in our towns & villages, and sometimes the cities. We all looked after each other, we were able to leave a key in our front doors. Our mother's, sisters were able to walk our streets without fear, because we all knew each other & families, everyone respected each other & their property. Before the influx of non nationals, we were able to go to a doctor/dentist/hospital emergency dept at the drop of a hat, knowing we would be seen within an hr. Believe me, we are sick of the waiting times too, if you don't like waiting times here, why not go back home, I'm sure there are very few of your fellow country men left in your country taking up valuable spaces at hospitals /doctors/dentists waiting rooms. I'm a qualified sociologist, maybe I should go to your country and complain about the way of your country who couldn't even look after You. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS COUNTRY, F#*K OFF, there are plenty of Irish nurses.

There's disadvantages to living everywhere, he's merely giving an opinion, a very fair one I would say. I doubt if he didn't like living here he'd still be here after 5 years. The good old days of the church having a stranglehold on the country and society doesnt really feel like the paradise you're making it out to be in hindsight.

Hi , I appreciate your comment, at first I wanted to respond in an angry way, because iI can feel your rage.❤️ but i cannot leave a hateful response to a hateful comment. This vlog is merely an opinion , which everyone I believe is entitled to. I understand your missing the good old days and now is different as you say. Living in any country has its pros and cons as a foreigner, I want you to know Im not giving out about these things, just merely stating , some people will agree and relate to it, some wont. I feel the racism in this comment but you are entitled to your own feelings and opinion. Yes I am one of the “Non -Nationals” you are referring to , but it is clear you haven’t been into hospitals lately? One time an Irish patient woke up in a unit she saw nurses 2 indians and 1 filipino the first thing she asked, am i still In Ireand? We reoriented her and explained to her what happened, she asked us individually where we’re from, and she smiled and said shes delighted that Ireland had become so diverse and that she’s happy with the care we’re giving her and she’s just thankful because there is a Nurse to look after her National or Non - national .if you have a lot of Irish nurses why is the country recruiting nurses and doctors all over the world? (Just for fun?) And why a lot of the younger Irish nurses are leaving or wants to leave Ireland to work elsewhere?( just bored?) Im sorry if you feel bad about this video, but hopefully you find peace in your heart and have less rage to Share, it’s bad for your physical and mental health🙏🙂 God bless you, I love Ireland 🇮🇪 and I love the Philppines , you can say whatever you like about it when you come to the Philippines and you’re welcome as a Non National, you’lllike some parts of it, but not all, same as everywhere else - and I thank you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@BoyetVentura How many Irish or European Doctors and nurses do you have running your country and religious system? Nun would be the answer. If your own country is that good, why do you have the hard neck to run the Irish down. I am just making an observation on your observation. I notice Saudi Arabia is not mentioned as an oppressor and tyrant for your people to be exploited by the A-Rabs?
@BoyetVentura
@BoyetVentura 28 дней назад
@@SeanFabien hi, I respect your opinion? But this video is not meant to run the Irish down like what you said. It is merely stating personal experience as every country has their own pros and cons, there is a video made for pros and this one for cons ( based on a lived experience) Now if your opinion is different than mine, it’s because we’re humans and your lived experience is different from mine. If you live abroad and state its pros and cons , who am I to question you? That’s your own opinion , and freedom of speech, nobody can take that away from you👍😊
