This list is also looking like a contender for best M.O.D.O.K. deck, but may lose some steam as its sample size catches up, the ones featured in the beginning of video are all over 1,000 games already: marvelsnap.pro/decks/swarmpocalypse-szija
This deck is amazing. It helped me climb like crazy today. I wanna say in the last 2-3 hours I only lost 4 games. Good job Regis! Also I haven’t commented before and just wanted to say you have became my all time favorite card game RU-vidr and streamer!
I am trying my best to think of fun ways to incorporate the same card in different thumbnails without always resorting to variants, haha. I was particularly happy with this one.
The Collector has some really good synergy with MODOK. I use Moon Girl to duplicate my hand when Swarm and Apocalypse are in there, then play MODOK. Collector laps that shit up.
I’ve been having the most fun with Modok since I started the game. I got Shuri the same day the season started and have been using them both to climb intermittently, but honestly Modok provides bigger laughs
@@Aristocat-123 I totally get that, he can be frustrating but I love him. I switch my decks a lot and often if I’m using something that goes up against a couple Modoks I switch back just because I like him
I'm not 100% sure, but Sacred Timeline actually give you a copy of your opening hand 'in the state that it is now' meaning that: If your swarms are at 0 power or your Apoc is at 12 power (or maybe even if your cards have been Negative'd - haven't tested it out yet), it will create a copy of that card in your hand when you fill the location. That means that at 19:07, you could have played 2 0-cost swarms to Sacred Timeline, it would given you an extra 2 0-cost swarms and another Apoc. Obvs it wouldn't make much difference, since the discard makes it 0-cost anyway, and it wouldn't help you win max cubes. But it's s pretty interesting to know this when you need it.
This deck is crazy fun. With the collector variation I got a 29 collector because of M.O.D.O.K. onto bar sinister with a ton of swarms. I’ve also gotten a 40 morbius because of onslaughts citadel.
ive been rocking cosmo/enchantress instead of nakia/siff in my list, other than that its identical. Went 16-1 last night. going to try to get a bigger sample today. Enchantress and cosmo both help against the mirror match, although its often hard to have cosmo prio early in other matchups.
I have been rocking a similar list but with lockjaw to rotate discards, collector for sunspot, the rest of the two drops are the same, lockjaw for mystique and hellcow for nakia just in case we miss discards. I win with it no problem, then I switch to no lockjaw modok lists and lose a lot, maybe I don't know how to pilot them. I had gambit in for wolverine for a while, not sure what's better.
What about the wolverine? I feel that he isn’t that good in this lost because you can only discard him once and then he’ll just be 4 power at a random location.
You have probably noticed this by now but that warrior falls game where you said chaves would beat odin wasn't correct. White tiger would of died and it would of been 10 power them 9 power you because of the fantastic left.
Bro this deck is obnoxiously strong holy CRAP. I don’t want to buy the season pass this time but I feel almost forced to if I want to compete right now. I don’t like how strong season pass cards are
At the end of game two, you said you could have even put the swarm mid and tied mid but wouldn't their Aero just move it left anyway? Idk if I'm missing something there.
Well the goal is to have apocalypse for drac on t6 so you're hand won't be empty. Also modok+strong guy is only 18 power for 9 energy which just isn't worth it
To this day I don’t have Colleen. I’ve managed to snag Absorbing Man, Luke Cage, and She Hulk from reserves but my discard dreams will never come true 😢
Deck I made that got me to infinite has a better win rate (65%) and cube rate (1.3) but this looks like a solid list as well might try it out now that I can donate Cubes
Unfortunately, Dracula is half the deck cuz it wind an entire base by himself and is one of the reasons you can have Chauvez in the deck to be played on turn 6. Without Drac, you'd have to play apoc on turn 6 so Chauvez would be a dead card.
Wish mystique would freaking show up lol. I'm almost done with pool 3 and she's one of my last cards. I've gotten so many other cards and keep wanting to do like negative iron man, Patriot, cerebroo etc but mystique is missing so they always feel like just short of being the solid level I want them to be they do ok enough but ya lol. I wanna try this list too but no mystique AHHH lol
Mystique isn't super important She is strong when played but you can easily sub her out for a different 3 drop that is relevant or even she hulk if you got her.
@@amosherrera3007 ya I have she hulk. I've been subbing her in most the decks I mentioned and it usually works ok enough just would like to have her still lol. In this deck ya seems like it'd function pretty fine without her
Man I get why zabu had to be nerfed UT ad someone who not even halfway into pool 2 he was the only card that allowed me to build half decent decks. It's just stupidly boring to play random cards and hope to get big number when I get anywhere past 30 ranking because then I start playing against guys who have pool 3 and higher cards and I just get thrashed. Hoping my sunspot gets to 4 and banking to win on a single America Chavis is boring as fuck to me and I just don't have the patience to play for a other year to get better cards. I WAS having fun and now it's just lame... going back to master duel.
Oof, what CL? I'm currently at 1.3k and only out modok but no plans on playing a discard or destroy decks. Just got valk and the C3 I'm running is a dream killer.
@@GenJuhru I’m at 2.4k, I don’t have valk either, I see all these meta decks and I’m always missing a key card (or two). Not that it matters, I always get destroyed by terrible locations for the decks I’m running or just never drawing into the cards I need to win a game lol
@@fatherof3363 I put Chavez to increase the odds, but dayum not bragging but I completed (in order): move, moon-dino, destroy(& death-wave), sunspot-electro-infinaut, discard(no modok), lockjaw, the op wong, c2 & lastly c3. You may notice these are f2p decks(wish to get prenerf leader & Zola), but hell I'm having fun just doing dailies 🤓
im starting to really dislike marvel snap , Ive been running destroyer ongoing because most of the meta cards i had have been nerfed to the ground and all the cards that are now meta are behind a paywall. I dont mind spending the $10 because the pass is worth it but still cmon, the fuck ton of caches i have to open to get a CHANCE to get a card?
Try this deck out for yourself and I can guarantee all your opponents will have Enchantress and Shang Chi to take care of your Morbius/Mystique. Have fun!
Ironic you played "you as a baby" and has pretty much the exact same cards and plays. Also, you can click on an opponent's avatar and it will show you their title.
Regis i can't in good faith play a game that's this pay to win. Whats your take on anyone playing this game knowing they need to spend thousands to play the game competitively. Especially with how often the updates come
Well, I'm not sure I buy into your premise entirely. It's definitely absurdly expensive to get every card like I've been doing, but this deck, for instance, which is the brand new card and will end up being a Tier 1 deck I think, will cost exactly $10 for anyone who's been playing for a month or two. If there were competitive systems that demanded people have 5+ Tier 1 decks, then you'd have to argue it's very time- and cost-gated to compete. But currently one good deck is all you need, and one good deck is easily achievable F2P or with minimal investments. So, it might be "pay to have the most fun possible", but currently it's not really "pay to win", or at least, if it is, I'd argue it's on a scale of $10 per month. If tournaments come along demanding many decks, or there's some officially supported system that demand them, it will definitely preclude people from competing who haven't spent a lot. But the game's normal ladder and systems don't do that currently. I think if the game really costs thousands for people to feel like they had to compete, you wouldn't see nearly the playerbase or audience that you do. I think most people know getting every card is virtually impossible, but are probably still content with their ability to climb (although there are pockets of Collection Level where it feels much worse than others)
I hit rank 70 at cl 1k and I'm F2P. You don't need the battle pass cards, it just makes the game easier. It all really comes down to playing more to grow your collection
@@RegisKillbin I'll give the point of view of there being no competitive scene to push the demand for these decks. I'm not necessarily saying the progression of the game is unwell. All I have gathered from watching your various videos on the game is I need to be spending what you spend to hit the variety for decks. I don't play the game and will not I was simply offering my viewpoint from only watching your content. I'm not well versed on the meta for this game at all. I only watch your videos. Apologies if I'm seeming confrontational but I can't get into another aggressively monetized ccg. I'm not trying to be hateful that has just been my take watching your content transition to Snap. Love your content still and I'll keep watching
@@Jamal-wk6fy Specifically to your response i don't play the game my only exposure to the content is regis videos. Sorry if I'm ignorant it's just how i've seen the content through watching regis
@@mudkipmilk Yes, I agree, as I wrote, "if it is ...pay to win..., I'd argue it's on a scale of $10 per month." If we get into a loop where BP cards are intentionally overpowered and then nerfed after their month is up, that's going to be super lame.
how can this be the highest wr modok deck when snapster made a video of the highest wr modok deck with moongirl and collector? you guys cant both have the highest wr modok deck right? stop the cap
