The drummer, Pau, is insanely talented. She is the winner of Modern Drummer magazine's 2023 "Up and Coming Drummer of the Year" award. She also recently won the Drumeo "Best Rock Drummer of 2023" award. Here's a cool video of that, if you were interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eajbMv-t7YY.html
Nice reaction. The drummer, Paulina, runs on nuclear batteries. They have incredible charisma. The short answer on the lyrics is that it’s a warning regarding the modern world and social media not to believe everything you read and hear. Don’t be a disciple, basically. They’ve always been mature and smart with heir lyrics even from a very young age. They love to play in Texas so I’m sure they’ll be back there, maybe this summer. They haven’t announced anything in the US yet, keep watching.
Pau has been singing while drumming pretty much since she started . . And has trained useing a treadmill or jogs while she sings . TWA have a youtube channel . So sub to them and your in TWA . . Great reaction T n T . . You have many more to look at . . Till the next time . . Take care . Bye from New Zealand . . 💐🍻🇳🇿
They played some great gigs in Austin, Dallas, Houston and more places in Texas… it was apart of their US Leg Mayday tour and Error tour in 2022 and 2023… also playing their with Halestorm… but i hope they come back to the states 🤘they’re about to take over Europe soon
Some other great songs from Teatro Metropolitan: Guitarist singing--Evolve, Error, When I'm Alone, Martirio; Drummer singing lead: 23, Dust-to-Dust, Narcisissta, Revenant
The Warning pull from so many different bands, genres, and eras. They take that and meld it into a sound that is new, but familiar, and totally refreshing in my opinion. I have travelled all over North America in the apst two years to see them live. Totally worth if they are anywhere close to you. Go see them. Come on and join us. The Warning rabbit hole is deep and has plenty of space for you to join us for sure.
Great reaction. Yes, they’ve played in Texas before including south Texas as well. My son and I saw them with Halestorm in San Antonio a couple of years ago. They played the Aztec last year but I missed their show. They’re amazing live. Y’all will love their live music vibe. They’re amazing performers 🤘🏻
This was the first song I saw by TW when Pau did that fill while singing I was hooked. These ladies are badass rockers very fun to watch. Try Dust to Dust to see Pau sing the lead vocals it's insane how good of a song it is. Dany kicks in at the end while Pau kills it on the drums. Thanks for the great reaction. 🔥⚡
That was nice. They have a music video for this song too, which, while you learn the lyrics may be a fun way to get there. There are also lyric sites and interpretation sites to google. Many of their songs leave a good bit to interpretation. Some songs are true singles and then there are songs that fit together, either like the epic concept album 'Queen of the Murder Scene', or that make references to the same issues, etc.. Thankfully though, you can enjoy any of them without any context so go for it!
I have been to two of the their shows. Both in smaller venues and it was awesome! Im pretty sure their days of playing small venues are just sbout done.
There’s a lot to explore. FYI, just saw Bill F Gibbons recently and he’s still rocking. That said, seen these gals 6X so far, and WOW are they talented. They played San Antonio, Austin and Dallas both of last 2 years For reference saw 79 shows last year and theirs were tremendous! 🔥🤘 #NumberlyGarfs
Absolutely EPIC live performance!! They are the best power trio of XXI century! FYI they opened for Foo Fighters, GNR, Muse, Halestorm, 3DG, Deff Leppard, etc. Awesome! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
The song warns of the dangers of media, particularly social media. There are people out the looking to take advantage of the unwary for power, influence, and profit. They have touched on this subject before.
South Texas is almost north Monterrey. They’ve played all over Texas multiple times. The videos are awesome but seeing them live is a full body experience!
Hi Randy, Have you read the Louder article by any chance? it came out today and it is called "the best new rock songs you need to hear right now" the song S!CK is at 63.95 at this moment there are various band competing. Earlier the song was at 19% so its been climbing steadily. We need the TWA to show up in force and get the song to 100% #1 by voting. i have already voted. So i am spreading the word so that the TWA are aware and we can make this song reach the top so that we can get new eyes and ears on the song The article was at the home page but its no longer there so you would need to type Louder and what i wrote in commas and ad the word the Warning. Thank you
@@SDsailor7 I haven’t read the article but did vote several hours ago. TWA take any and all polls seriously and relish every opportunity to promote the girls. I’ll look that article up.
"Disciple" was one of twenty-two songs played at this Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert. Every song played at this concert is a gem. They also have other songs, of course. They have several albums and some "acoustic" versions available here on this platform. These girls are very sweet, down to earth, and in touch with their fan base. Currently, I think Dany (Guitartist, Lead Vocals) is 24, Pau (Drummer, Vocals) is 22, and Ale (Bassist, Vocals) is 19.
Now You've been Warned really good.. This show is 22 songs. I recommend you start with Z the opener and do'm all.. Not all at once of course. The show is timed stamped for individual videos.. Paulina aka Pau (pow) is 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year voted by fans at The Drumeo Awards 2023.. 🤘🎶☮️
Welcome to The Warning !! I am pretty sure a couple of people have reached out to you ... and it will go on...and on.... These Ladies put Rock-n Roll where it needs to be.... ooph ... after 20 yrs..... FINALLY !!!! D.P.A. !!!!
TWA Member San Antonio Texas!!!! These talented ladies have no intentions in losing any fans so they continue to put out killer songs and always put 💯 into their live shows to show their gratitude to TWA And fans
There has been only around 25 drummers that sang while drumming. So Pau joins a very select group with the likes of Phil Collins, Ringo Starr, David Grohl, Don Henley, etc. Most songs start with Pau also working them out on piano then she brings them to the sisters. All three are music geniuses. Ale became an amazing bass player in only a couple of years.
Muchas gracias por su reacción 👍, The Warning es 🔥, es talento,es una de las mejores bandas de la actualidad, Yo ♥️ The Warning 🤘⚡, saludos desde Venezuela 👋😎.
Love The Warning! I have seen them live three times, so far! Proud member of TWA! I'm also a proud member of Band-Maids fandom, called "Maidiacs", a five girl group from Japan. Worth a look, believe me!
In the first verse Dany is explaining for the disci-les to be that today, just today the sun will be their enemy and then in the second verse Pau responds back that Yes as a good disciple to be she now sees the sun to be her enemy. There is some good vlogs and clips about this wehre Pau explains the concept about how people are gullible to social media without thinking themselves
I ♥ The Warning 🎶🎶 These girls are simply incredible. Each one of them has a special talent. They don't have a single bad song, like I said they are simply incredible.
They have a formidable innate talent, each one of them. Innate but with practice taken to the sublime. Despite their youth, they already have a lot of experience along the way in addition to their great preparation since they were little girls. Their attitude, discipline and willingness to achieve their goals are leading them to great and well-deserved achievements. Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra are still on the path to the top, but with too much potential, enough to think that reaching it will be inevitable. Furthermore, the volume of quality that each of their creations implies is great… and the number of songs that carry said quality is enormous, which for me could be “The Warning label.” I’m sure that each of their creations is subjected to a meticulous quality process before finally seeing the light… And not only in the technical aspect, but they have also already shown that they have an exquisite taste for the good music that emanates from them when they become inspired and creative. Added to all this is that they are surrounded by an excellent family and a fraternal team totally committed to their project... And they have a fan base, “The Warning Army”, tremendously loyal to them (and exponentially growing too) that is decisively involved in supporting them because they have deservedly earned it for being incredible and surprising human beings. Knowing this will give you a much better perspective to better value DPA, and maybe you will understand that TW is not just a band of talented young women who make good songs... No, it’s about music, really about art with the brilliance of a "masterpiece" created and performed by three genius female performers from an early age who have been developing and evolving by leaps and bounds. The beauty of their art lies in its simplicity. Allways everybody have to appreciate each of these amazing rock masterpieces in all their dimensions and then be surprised again that they are creations of those who have wonderful talent but who, due to their age, still have much more talent to develop. Dany, Pau & Ale are already admirable but their potential increases exponentially as they achieve success. As long as all this continues to flow with this equation, soon they will reach the top of the world where they deserve to be. I hope to see many reactions from you to TW my favorite band of all time. Thanks and regards!! 🤘😁✌️
*Disciple* *Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... Dany (guitar) sings the part of the "leader"... Pau (drums) sings the part of a "follower", "disciple", or maybe "soldier"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... i believe this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear... the OMV for *Disciple* was shot during the pandemic, all the extras in the video are IRL The Warning Army members... the wearing of the various masks works for the video as well as acknowledging the pandemic being a thing at the time of recording the video... there is the dichotomy of the masks, themselves... the "disciples/soldiers" wearing just cloth mouth and nose masks while the higher ranked overseers are wearing full face filter masks... and then we have DPA/TW playing the upper echelon, the untouchables, with no masks at all... this ranked depiction of status makes a huge statement about social media in addition to what is already being said in the song... *XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three other original DPA/TW songs that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
They toured the US, Canada and Europe last year and are just kicking off another European tour soon then hopefully they will come back to the US. They've played a few shows in Texas before so there is a chance they'll come back again!
Been rock drumming since '73 and Pau's taught me so much about drumming AND singing at the same time. I'm a worship leader at our church and play in a metal rock style and lead sing. She is a true inspiration and incredibly talented force to be reckoned (as are TW band) with Pau deserving all the recognition she's getting from drumeo and other music outlets.
Thanks for your reaction. Back in the dark ages, before the internet, lyrics for a lot of songs were not readily available. These days, google will get them for you in seconds. I suggest you read the lyrics either before or after you react to each song by these rock prodigies. They have a lot to say and often are warning the world about the problems they see. Totally up to you if you do read the lyrics or not.
They played Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, in their 2022 and 2023 tours. When they were kids, they would play around the border. From Mcallen to Tijuana. Before this year, you could find venues under 600 people for $37.50. But they have taken off, opening for Guns n Roses, The Foo Fighters, Halestorm, MUSE, Def Leppard, and others. I saw them when they opened for Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless. They played for 35 minutes and it cost me $91 for the ticket. Worth every penny!! But those smaller, less expensive gigs are going to be few and far between, I'm afraid.
Nice Reaction! Their first big break came in 2014 when they did a cover of Enter Sandman and their dad put it here on YT and it went viral (25M). They were 14, 12 and 9 yrs old. From that they got an invite on The Ellen Show and she got Target to donate money to send them to the Berklee College of Music in 2015. Somewhere around then Ale's Bass Teacher told them they should try writing their own songs and they found out they had a knack for it and they have been writing songs and touring since. They have 1 EP and 3 Albums and have released 2 songs from their next one. Sick was one of the new songs and More is the other. Keep Going!
Thanks for the reaction, and glad you enjoyed them as most of us here all do! TWA ... all new comers welcome - just hop on the train, enjoy the ride, and we'll see where it goes!!! TWA⚡UK
Pau makes the energizer bunny look like a slacker. You definitely need to check them out live, I was lucky enough to see them live in Austin and Dallas in May last year. Keep up the great reactions.
Hey TnT! If you are in South Texas, just take a little trip down to Monterrey, MX and see them in their hometown. Also, they have played in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville. They are closest to TX, so you will get your chance to see them live again soon, I am sure. I am a OG rocker in my 50s and I have not seen a band as good live in decades! Rock On!
They came to San Antonio last May and perfotmed at the Aztec Theater downtown. $75 was a seat on the 4th row right side. Not likely to have a small venue like that again. Much better places acoustically in San Antonio. In Austin the same month in front of a much smaller crowd. Maybe by the end of this year or early next year.
Love your reaction! Would love to introduce you to another great band called Nightwsh. Start with the song "Ghost Love Score" from 2013 Wacken Open Air from the German festival❤❤❤
