Another black chicken breed is the Augsburger chicken. It derives mostly from the La Flèche breed and is considered extremely endangered. It has a very unique double comb and kinda looks like an open hair clip or a crown imo. Some have reported their chicken lay eggs well into their old age and is considered a dual purpose chicken.
Very well done, ironically I came here after searching for Sumatra chickens, as I haven’t seen them since I purchased a rooster and two hens from a father of one of my friends… I’ve always loved chickens, but don’t eat eggs… I was a weird kid! lol!
I have 8 black Australorps. They just started laying 3 weeks ago and already I'm consistently getting between 4-7 eggs a day. Some are already as large as what you'll get at the store. The birds aren't too flighty either and are curious. I'm still working on their coop and it's funny to see they come to me to check out what I'm doing.
My austeolorp is still chicken with me(got As a Pullet) same with My barnevelder. Only blacks I have. My frizzle is white with blue Skin. Talkative but also still “chicken”. Treat time I’m acceptable, but otherwise they still run Hope they will become more true to traits. Supposedly Hand raised but I have my doubts
Good video I looked up white chickens with blue feet today I think 1 of our new free hens from a school could be a bresse won’t know until she starts laying I wonder if any of your chickens are Java’s one of my speckled Sussex hens looks like that just white with mahogany and teal instead of black
These attempts at humor with these silly images of people clowning around are not appreciated. Instead, if you showed us more images of the chicken in question, like the Ayam Cemani, that would be much more appropriate. What about the Black Copper Marans? Gorgeous birds!!! Friendly, heavy layers, and chocolate eggs. Ideal.
