Discover 250 Years of MAN | MAN Truck & Bus 

It made me shed happy tears. I am extremely proud of M.A.N. and the German nation. Here in Guyana, I have come across many M.A.N engines: power generation and marine. I've seen a few trucks bearing the M.A.N. badge too. I'd like to wish the M.A.N. company every success it's to have for generations to come. Long Live M.A.N.🇬🇾.

I remember when they salvage german u boot from ww1 from the bottom of adriatic sea,the engines inside were m.a.n f6v35,68 years at the bottom of sea,and after changing oil and filters engine started without any problems so there were not seized up,that is real deal german engineering at his best.

I served an apprenticeship on MAN & Niigata Diesel engines (quite the combination) at one of the remotest places, enough said, truly a professional engine company, there are not many to compare.

I love how they didnt tried to hide their involvement with the reich...unlike others, they are not ashamed of their past.

Was on the MV Wickersham in 1974 , Alaska Inside Passage- it was leased to the state ferry system- went in engine room- it had 2 MAN diesels, 10,000 hp each. Huge and beautiful. To remove head nuts a heater rod was inserted into hollow stud which expanded lengthwise and nuts turned off w/out wrench. Man! MAN.

So, man, krupp, messerschmitt, VW, Porsche, and other Germans have made the world what it is today!!! German precision rules!

Важные доказательства активного сопротивления нацистам я обнаружил в Южной Германии. Интересный пример такого сопротивления являет «Машиненфабрик Аугсбург-Нюрнберг», известный как М.А.Н. То, что этот концерн добился успеха там, где потерпели неудачу большинство других, отчасти объясняется большим значением, которое нацистское министерство военного флота придавало производству военных судов, из-за чего поддерживало руководство концерна в его стремлении к независимости от нацистов. @joanne61 In 1970 the Romanian Communist leader Ceausescu bought license from MAN Ceausescu began producing trucks under license from MAN The trucks were called Roman (RO-Romania-M.A.N) They still occur in today. Romanian trucks are powered by Mercedes M.A.N and Deutz.
