Had the pleasure of seeing Cassy play a few times in Paris around the time she had a residency at Rex Club around 2011 or so. From the housier nights to opening for Jeff Mills, I always called her Classy instead.
I usually don't like that glitchy house stuff and the rest of Akufens album, but Skidoos (and Installations) are two of my alltime favourites! The base is just incredible. The 35 Hz wave just killed my living room
Not really my style although I loved the way she described each track and her b sides have stories and personal connections. A lady who loves what she does, Infectious enthusiasm. This series and blind test are phenomenal.
It is strange that Elin aka Alexander Müller has never been on screen just like Jiri.ceiver or Jan Pravda. All great producers anyway. Good to see Cassy. Thanks
Akufen, comme un explorateur des sons de la radio, un chercheur en sons qu'il cuisine entre eux, bellle reprensativité des sons "technos" mélodiques en tout genres, le label fragile mérite un détour par ces artistes ainsi que soma rexords...
I wouldn't say boring, I'd say different. The first tune is eclectic, it would be OK in a mix but I couldn't buy it. The rest were interesting and I did like them. Can hear each one in a mix of different genres
@@Judas3rd well the last akufen track for sure. She only skips too quickly through the tracks, so the impression you get from the track is even more little then the usual experience on b-sides..
@@Judas3rd I don't find the tracks boring. There are moments you want to listen more relaxed and bobbing your head to the beats. These tracks are relaxed. IMHO I love them all.
