Already have! Love a log home design for cold winters. We also prefer a cast iron stove with oven over a fireplace. This home is small enough the wood stove would heat the entire home decreasing an electric bill and you can still watch a fire!

GORGEOUS house!! Only thing that I think could be added to make it perfect is a little bit of counter to the left of the stove and a small pantry to the right of the refrigerator. ☺

It is beautiful and everything about the house is great, except for one flaw that could be easily fixed. Don't omit the porch roof over the door. From a functional point of view, that's where the porch most needs a roof. If you want to do something creative and differently different by omitting parts of the porch roof, do it somewhere where it won't leave homeowners standing in the driving rain while they are juggling packages and fumbling with the door lock, or cause guests and delivery people to have to knock and then scurry away from the door to find cover while waiting for an answer. Then, as an option, some people may want the upstairs bedroom more enclosed - that is not a flaw, just a preference and easily modified. Overall, a lovely home or retreat.

Agreed. And with that porch change, I would omit the cabinet to their right of entering to allow for a bit more seating in the living room, and perhaps add a carport with covered walkway to the back kitchen door.

So, this is a very lovely home. Love the bedrooms and bathrooms. I'd want to change things in the kitchen and laundry areas though. I'd add a venthood over the stove, and add some more cabinetry and countertop space on that semi blank wall, then enlarge the laundry area to fit side by side washing and and dryer. I'd also like to see porch space at the back of the home as well. Adding a carport or garage would be nice too.

I love the upstairs, the bathroom is so gorgeous and tranquil. I think if I lived in that house I would stay upstairs all the time, so cozy and peaceful.

It would be very cool to have an open fireplace in the living, open to both sides. You'd have to make the kitchen/dining area bigger.

Just inside the entry, the glass front cabinet could be swapped for a bench and coat closet. In the kitchen, slide the stove over a bit and create counter on both sides and give it a vent hood. Next to the fridge theres room for a good-sized pantry cabinet. The upstairs bathroom is enormous. It could become a fourth bedroom, with the bath inserted into the front dormer. So this is a house that has options!

I love this home but we need a home that would accommodate a heavy snow load and not dump the snow anywhere near an exterior door or a flat porch roof. Love love that upstairs suite and we can add bunks to the room the office is for the grands and still have room for everyone! We just can’t build this one with the roof as is.

I’d switch the stove and fridge to make room for a sliver of countertop next to the stove. Otherwise lovely layouts.

....Theres are thing to ' like ', but why not make the Fireplace double sided ..??? Makes sense. I dont like thst theres no ' real Foyer ", ... I see so many of these homes without a real Foyer. Stairs look narrow, and no landing spot in between. The first downstairs bedroom shown is TINY. as is the bathroom. Yikes. Id be concerned about the Bathroom entrance in the upstairs, being so close to that staircase ... not good. The bonus area upstairs is one of the best things....but no privacy doors in that Bedroom. 🤔

Hmmmm. No roof over the front door? Do you like being soaked-to-the-bone unlocking the front door? Not a good design in my opinion.

Great start with the front porch! I love all the plants. Yes! Finally a gorgeous fireplace and a place for the TV! I love the open stairway. Aw, are the entry cabinets big enough? Nice eat in kitchen. I'd run the cabinets to the ceiling No pantry. The laundry, bath, BR combo feels awkward, and small. Leading in is a LOT of wood. Upstairs is very nice. (creative change in the water color in the tub?) Overall, the downstairs just feels small. There really should be a pantry, and a bigger laundry, but I can't see where it would fit without changing the footprint of the house. Maybe give up some of the front porch area on both sides?
