Surprising Fact :- In Bihar there is a place named after Bakhtiyar Khilji (Bakhtiyarpur). Exisiting still today shows the level of appeasement for peacefuls despite all the destruction. I am from Bihar and this place needs a YOGI 🙏🔱

I have read the book The Educational Heritage of Ancient India by Smt Sahana Singh …explained in detail about the glorious ancient universities of India… so sad that we don’t even know how rich and advanced we were … We still have a place bakhtiyarpur in Bihar named after the invader who destroyed Nalanda …
I have completed my education from Gurukul. I'm also want to open a Gurukul in my district to improve quality education and to produce Humans, for that I'm learning knowledge more and more, funds are are important. It's inspiring.
Great Analysis We must implement these suggestion as previously . Now a days also present a lot of different invasivores, who try to break our culture & Vedic education system. So We have to aware from these things. We will have to make strong base for our children.

Ancient India had perfect balance of education, skill development, work life and family life. The passage of time brought about invaders that caused huge destruction. Then West's model of education is still today based on Industrial Revolution era formula. It is just to produce workers to meet certain jobs and if industry changes then panic sets in among labour force. That is why today stress, depression, suicides and misery at every level of society. Today West's biggest industry is so called 'Mindfulness' or 'Happiness' therapy which is nothing but a reinvented and packaged version of our own Mind Sciences.

If we want more Chanakya then we as a society come out of this colonial mindset. Connect to our roots, and culture and strengthen our Cole values. We will never feel our people's pain if we don't connect to the roots. Ancient system in which students feel more connected to the people when these students become advisors to any kind of anything they know what should be implemented. We need both this modern education but the character should be made on that ancient Gurukul shiksha. Once we have that character then we can adopt anything that is the need of the hour .

In that book Dharmapal ji has also busted the myth of caste system and has mentioned that people from all caste especially those who belonged form lower classes also were part of the gurukul and recieved education. Also, women of that era also received education! He has mentioned a survey done by the Britishers which contains all these data 🙂.

Stop crying, in old Indian gurukul system, getting education right was not for all people. And if we had really great education system in past then why we are unable to establish that great education system till now? How long we will cry for attack on old Indian education system rather to find ways to bring back our so called great education system? Shudras & Dalits denied Education. Women denied Education. Only 5% were literate. It was a dark age filled with social discrimination and stupid superstitions. By the way, Nalanda & Takshashila were Buddhist Universities.

Myths- Before British: -There was no proper education in India! -Shudra/Dalit castes/Females were denied education! Truth- -The indigenous education system was flourishing before british! Infact, the level of education & quality of teachers in India was much superior to british system of education! -Caste, gender/religion was no barrier for education! Kids from all castes were studying in gurukuls/pathshalas (dalit castes as well)! -Shudras were in majority in a large no. of gurukuls! Girls were also studying in gurukuls! & These all these findings were well-documented in British's own surveys! Details 👇 In early 19th century (1820-40), British commissioned a series of surveys to assess the level of indigenous education in India. Key ones amongst these were Thomas Munro survey (1821) & Adam's survey (1835). Key findings from these reports👇 1. Every village had a gurukul (pathshala)! Larger villages had more than one! 2. There were ~100,000 pathshalas in Bihar & Bengal alone! 3. These pathshalas taught reading & writing, languages, epics like ramayan/mahabharat & even arithmetic! 4. Literacy rate was high, pathshalas had good attendance rate! 5. Indian indigenous schooling was much more extensive, had better content & had superior teaching methodologies vs british! 6. Teachers here were more dedicated & sober than their english counterparts! 7. In a large number of these pathshalas, it was Shudras who were in majority (50-70%)! 8. Girls were also being educated, some in these pathshalas, some at home! Thomas Munro concluded- "The state of education in India was higher than it was in most European countries at no very distant period!"
