Hiya Ryan, you were up here in my neck of the woods. And I see you rode the "Rapid Transit". I was riding it many yrs 😊ago, to my High School. (Little Italy to Lake Shore) many weekends we also wrote it to the airport to check out the planes. The good ol days. Little bit of history, Mr Petiti was a grower he owned Casa Verde mostly Annuals and Perennials...probably 20 some yrshe team up with Gales garden center in Akron Ohio ( S of Cleveland was more like yours) they bought the little mamma and papa store in the areas, got few others to invest and reopened under Gales name ( not sure if others contracts were over and Petiti took over. They opened up with" that " look in the " high end areas, W, SW and South. Angelo started appearing on the radio talk and a bit on local channels. Anthony the son took it to where it is now, married into money, buddy buddy with Cleveland news 8 station started with a garden and a weekly show onto that station. Grampa Petiti came over from Italy in the same region that my granpa came from. The West Lake location is the newest and biggest of all, fallowing Strongsville, Brunswick, Chardon and Akron....they have I believe few more. As far as I know they are a Northern Ohio only. I know all of this cuz I was a landscaper/gardener and did business with previous and then Petiti. Hope you enjoyed Cleveland and had a good experience, and check out few restaurants. Can you say road trip!! I live in Pennsylvania, I will be checking these stores out next spring. I have never seen any place near the size of these. Thank you thank you Thank you❤
