Langkawi island is such a beautiful island. But it badly needs more local and foreign tourists. Hope that you guys have had a good time and a pleasant stay on the island.
Siakap stim masak limau, my favorite 😋..Nice to see u guys get to enjoyed Langkawi this time, last time u went here it was raining monsoon season🌧 n u didn't have motorcycle to travel around this island.
Most of the 5-star hotel companies control the private beach in Langkawi, only those who stay there can get the facilities, this is very sad for the people who only stay in budget hotels,That's why there are less visitors
Always love to see U two traveling in Malaysia. Langkawi is beautiful. I like watching both mario n Olivia eating the RM40 seafood dish. U guys ate the fish until the fishbone is only left. Not a bad price considering the fish is pretty big. N two plates of rice and omelette. Looking forward to watching future videos as U two lovebirds keep on touring the peninsular Malaysia on a motorbike
Actually you can go to the strech of beach at Datai. The beach stretches from Datai resort to Andaman resort (you'll pass by Andaman first before reaching Datai. By the road in between them lies a few walking paths towards the beach (you can discreetly park your bike by the road side). Fyi the by law the beach cannot be made private only the access to it can be made so. Just like the river and river banks, no one can own the beach or the sea by such beach. So I would advice to ride your bike slowly and find those paths and you'll have access to the same. Thats what i did. Alternatively, you can go through Andaman resort (if it is still there and by that name), buy an orange juice at the resort restautant as an excuse to access the beach. Good luck.
Beaches are not owned by anyone. But the road access going to that beach might be private. So if you can find access to it without trespassing into other people property you can go to that beach.
This time around, locals not going out for travel/holidays. That’s why the tourist spots looks empty. Because of ‘1 month’ Eid festivals & heat season. The islands in the east coast way better than Langkawi. Less crowded & cheaper like Redang, Perhentian, Tioman etc..
Langkawi is so much better than over tourist and crowded Bali.I forgot to subscribe to your channel but I’m glad I ran back into it though 😅.I really loved and enjoyed the videos of you guys in Laos 🇱🇦.
My few days in Langkawi was ruined by flies everywhere. Whenever we sat down for a meal we'd be swarmed with big house flies. Even the candles didn't keep them away. And this says something about the rubbish disposal strategy and hygiene control on the island.
Malaysian beaches differ from Thai beaches in terms of entertainment. Malaysia does not have prostitution and wild parties. Malaysian beaches are more suitable for lovers and married couples or those who have kids. 😁
@@TravelsonToast ok nice.....because last year i saw your youtube also in Malaysia.....so how many times have you come to Malaysia??!! Anyway, if you ride a bike....please be careful especially at night.....Malaysian people got so many rider etc Marc Marquez, Vallentino Rossi, Pedrosa....hahahaha
7:15 next time, whenever you buy fish, ask the fishmonger to clean the fish. They will happily do it for you and no extra charges. It's a standard request to have the fish cleaned whenever we buy them at wet market, pasar malam or even at the hypermarket! And your accommodation for RM75 per night, wow really a bargain!
All beaches in Malaysia are public places and no one is allowed to make ant beach as their eventhou they own the land next/lead to beach. Even the most luxurious hotel doesnt hv the priviledge to declare the beach is theirs BUT there is a clever way people to make the beach unofficially private. They bought the entire land leading to the beach and barricaded the perimeters with high wall or barbwires. They have the right to wall or fence up their part of the land and put up No Entry sign all over the fences. Public then do not have access to the beach because the land next to it is privately owned. We can however be on the beach by getting on a dingy or boat and land on that so called private beach. They have no authority to chase you away because 30 or 60 meters from the edge of the sea upward to inland considered as public areas. So…no private beach per se in Malaysia but the land owners have the right to close any access to the beach as long as they own the land next to the beach or even river.
that fish called baramundi+pompret= ikan siakap & ikan bawal. Next time for dipping sources, try cut onion, birdeye cili, lime, soy source. For fish just find Adabi Pes ikan bakar. When you travel back from Langkawi visit Ikan Bawal Power, Juru , Penang(Restaurant)

Tanjung Rhu is a wonderful and quiet beach. Well, I actually did a day trip to Koh Lipe from Langkawi and stayed in Koh Lipe for 6 hours and seen the main beaches before heading back to Langkawi. There is a lot to see in Langkawi - I did spend 1 week staying at Pantai Cenang
Tanjung Rhu has the best sunsets. And the reason why it's usually quite empty because it's pretty far, so unless you're staying at hotels nearby, a lot of people don't wanna make the drive. We usually wrap the fish in banana leaves to protect the fish and also for the aroma. And it's free too.
Went in march 2024 for 9 nights to Langkawi. It was the worst expiriance ever😮. Dirt is everywhere, So many Buildings & shops on their botom were left empty and devastated on the island but they continue building new ones everywhere! Chenai beach was full of dosens of jettskies and cars moving them around the beach, jelly Fishes were big like plate, really scarry, we could not swim in muddy see at all. Prices are overrated for everything there. It was just overpriced tourist robbery. Sad. They compleatelly distroyed nature there 😮... every tourist attraction starts with min. 15usd up.... I will never go there again😒
Both of you cemented my love and adoration towards Langkawi. This island is worth to come back again and again. Come back again to do the cable car and skybridge, that is a must-visit place but need to time it well to get the stunning view up there! Love your content and keep it up!!
I have been to Langkawi many times and did around trips on motorbike, but I never saw that temple… Where is it? I hiked to the top of other mountain - it is opposite funikuler mountain and slightly higher. It takes 2 hours (can be done by normal person, not technical climb).. There is great waterfall at the bottom of it and we left our bikes there and then had a great hike. Pls share the name of hotel where you stayed. Thanks!
It's on the road as you're driving north towards to geopark, we just saw a sign on the main road and went to check it out. We stayed at panorama hotel and resort.
Of course it it empty there Who likes super hot sun? I own a property there myself but I seldom visit Langkawi because things are very expensive there and most of all the super hot sun there is really killing!
