Good video April. I’ve been using this Bible for around 50 years now and obviously, wouldn’t be without it. I have no hesitation in recommending the ‘Thompson’ to anyone who isn’t afraid to put a little more effort in uncovering the hidden gems within their bibles. Hi. I have never used that Bible before. I am big on studying themes in the Bible. Have you ever studied the word light? It is mentioned in the first and last book of the Bible. It separates light from the darkness. Jesus is our light. My son was blinded in an ISIS suicide bombing in 2019. He wrote a book Zero Percent Chance. Him being alive is a miracle. He mentions often how he would like to see just any light. He is in darkness all the time. I praise God that through this my son has drawn closer to the Lord. He will see light one day and it will be Jesus. Thank you for your videos. They are motivating and uplifting.

WOW! 120 years! Obviously, the Thompson Bible is a great study aid to have longevity like that. I'm relatively new to in-depth bible study so I'd love to see videos about different study methods. There is so much to learn it amazes me! God is so great!

I used to have a KJV years ago that had cross-references, and I loved using it. I am doing a study on trust right now so the Thompson Chail Reference Bible would be very helpful.

Asheritah this is Stewardess and I must say this Bible is very attractive which really matters to me and is very important because that aspect helps me interact actively and the fact that it's 120 years old has really captured my attention. The side descriptions and highlights of the verses are always a plus. Thank You for all the information you share with us. I must say FEAST is one amazing method I have enjoyed using and I have even made a video reffering it to others. The Bookmarks too are amazing. I've wanted this bible for awhile now but have not been able to get it (yet). This would help so much as I prepared the Sunday School lesson each week for our ladies at church. We are currently studying the life of Joseph and I think we are going to study the life of Peter next. Perfect time for this bible!

I have just committed to a leadership role in CBS for next year. I am excited, as well as humbled to have been asked. I never saw myself as being capable of doing something like this, but apparently the Lord has this in mind and I believe that He will equipment me for His call. I saw this Bible years ago when I was a new believer and thought it was a great study tool. I’m glad to see it’s still around. Besides studying in general, I think it would be great for studying all the themes related to end times in Revelation because there are so many Old Testament references to sort out. It seems like it would really help keeping it all straight. I will have to give it a another look.

I started with the Joyce Meyers Bible because I needed to understand what the Bible was saying. I also have an NIV, and KJV Bible. My go to is KJV Bible because of my church.

I like that the whole verses are printed in the back, not just the references. Takes out some of the flipping! And I like that it just gives the next link in the text for 1 verse instead of the overwhelming number of cross-references to look at. I would study lament as I think that's underused and undervalued, but we all experience grief and sorrow.

I think I would like to study Grace or maybe Hope. and the Thompson bible would make that really easy, it feels like it basically has your study paths already planned out in easy to follow chains. It's such a cool and simple idea.

You did a great job. Zondervan took a lot of stuff out of the original Thompson Chain bible. The original Kirkbride had a better version with more information in it. I found out when I purchased a NKJV Thompson Chain.

Hello dear friend. I didn't know you had a RU-vid channel. I loved hearing about the TCR Bible, and will consider this the next time I am ready to purchase a study Bible. I love NIV and ESV....and I am looking to help a new friend get back into the Word this summer. She's been out of fellowship....but is ready to get back into the groove of study again. I'm praying about what tools to use to help her become grounded again in the Lord. She definately is a believer, but needs to find her way back to a local church, and fellowship with other believers. Any suggestions?

I would love to have this translation or version of the Bible. I have recently upon retiring started doing more Bible research during my daily Bible study. I have been studying the book of James and I think my next book will be Acts, also our church is studying Revelation and this would be helpful with the Old Testament references.
