So it's just different design but same works to perform the motor it's purpose.just old and modern design

From what I've learned, brushless is more durable in that there isn't a direct contact between metals and heat via friction from that contact. Supposedly brushless also has more torque with less voltage.

@@chadm2343 i wish i did my research before i bought my drills.All my drills are non brushless and i do a lot of work to drill holes and such, I really hope it last a while im scared of it over heating.

​@@akanesoratobu8889 brushed motors are just fine. Cheaper and more abundant. It's very unlikely you'll eve notice a difference in reliability. Brushless tools do have lots of torque and control easier though.
