yeah, those horse clean-up are sick! i wounder what did they use to achieve that? smart vectors maybe?

I would love to see a tutorial series on Deep Compositing. Seeing what you can do with it in this film makes it an extremely valuable tool.

its the same footage duplicated backwards multiple times with a specific offset, like an array modifier if you are familiar with blender, That's how some displacements work too
