Definitely scenic. The mountains are so steep and so are the roads. Some of those roads were hairpin curves. It must be quite a chore to pedal of those areas. However, the beauty of the area is unsurpassed and amazing how close it is to such a large urban area. As far as the music - could not be better. You choose well.
