I am a fan of kaizo. It is an alternative to reactive world or living world that pretty much just adds a bunch of new spawns and world states using vanilla assets

Kenshi feels unfinished in some minor ways. I think Mods are a good way to fix that. My little shortlist includes: 1. Animal Backpacks: I hate that the Bonedogs have a bag slot, but don't actually have bags. 2. Copper Ore Drills: You have Iron Ore Drills but not Copper Ore Drills, it feels like a missing feature. 3. Dark UI: Base-Game UI is very aesthetic, but also very overwhelming. After a while, I want something a little better. 4. Flies Are Muted: That buzzing drives me insane. 5. Full Refund: Kind of annoying when you want to re-structure your base, and you don't 1:1 recover those materials. 6. Metallic Weapons: How dull Meitou weapons look kinda ruins their impact. 7. Nice Map (Zone Names): You don't need spoilers, but man, after going to a location, I'd love for it to actually be labelled on my map. 8. Ration Pack Crafting: Genuinely just feels like missing content. The basic recipe is already in the FCS. 9. Skeleton Limb Storage: The fact there's no automated storage for Limb Crafting ruins Crafting automation. 10. Slopeless: NPC Outposts ignore slopes, it's frustrating that we can't. These Mods are powerful. And they do make the game easier. At the same time, they aren't intrusive. They feel more like filling in gaps that should have been there from the start.

Sims showed us around 35 Sims and the auto live ai starts to die full on cook and then leave the food to rot and god help if a Sim falls asleep in front of the only doorway when they were cooking 🔥🔥

I just wish that there was a mod that would allow me to recruit people who have been put in jail the same way I got my lost drone. Guards beat up a bunch of bandits and now I get to hire them in exchange for their freedom. Instead, my only option is to capture them myself and beat them up using a different mod which breaks my RP

Be warned! Most mods that modify XP or squad sizes, also apply to the enemies. Also pathfinding gets worse the more people you have.

The 256 limit mod isnt really that important for new players. They probably arent going to be wanting to have that many characters to micromanage anyways. 30 is plenty for a long time imo.

Gimme 256, higher container stack size and maybe animal backpacks that's all you need for a fun time, maybe max level training dummies to make a giant army on a fuck about playthrough lol, then just make potato people and stick bionic limbs on them

How about you recommend mods instead of most downloaded mods. I'm just coming back to the game and trying to find new mods these are all old stuff. Thought I would check out a Total Overhaul mod but no one is giving a recommendation.
