-- or how they're they're moving equipment to you, through you, for you, Right. there's just all these things. So that's why Reese and Jason and Mr Jeff tacker over there wanted us to come so that we could learn More about these operations. because it was a it in the grand scheme I mean it was a big haul But it wasn't big like the expedite Expo It wasn't like a huge truck show This was legitimately a recruiting event I mean Jeff and I were sitting there It was great as we went through all the presentation We're like there's the hook and There's the story Yeah And there's the pitch So which is marketing stuff like that We've been learning recently I mean we we could see the progression and it was extremely well done It didn't make you feel dirty It didn't make you feel like you were pressured They're they're not like you got to come to us and tell you all these things They're like Hey here's what we're offering And if you'd like to make the transition by all means let us know And if not if there's some other way we can help you let us know there Yeah not once did they try to sell us a truck It was crazy Like Jeff talked to to a recruiter You should share that story because that was pretty good So I wanted to learn more about what their offers were So Jeff Reese walked me over and introduced me to one of their uh I think he was actually is actually their head recruiter the guy that's in charge of that whole thing and My conversation with him wasn't well this is what the trucks cost here's this none of that at all He said well what are your goals What do you want to accomplish in the next couple of years here Do you want to be a fleet owner Do you just want to be a single truck owner operator Do you want to do this Do you want to do that Not once in that five ten minute conversation did he try to sell me a truck It was weird He was interested in what my business goals were Right Because here's the uh in comparison to like a mega carrier which most of us are mostly familiar with they're really interested in are you even a good fit to work with them Yeah They're not for everybody They tell you that Yeah You need to be someone that has goals and has a vision of where you want to be in five ten years That's what they're looking for So it's just a totally different different business than what we've seen in the past And we're kind of intrigued by it And for what most of us are used to I mean to be honest sorry I'm a little fidgety today Okay I can't get comfortable That was a nice pop That was a good one That was a scary one Right But but yeah so it was It was nice to go to a recruiting event and not feeling Like you're a piece of meat and they're trying and they're just trying to get you Does that make sense I don't know if i'm saying it right but but it was it was a very odd thing and it was it was To use good words It was refreshing It was nice Absolutely it was just a good time and and again no pressure and look we had some amazing There was some great presentations
