I love watching your videos. Warms my heart for some strange reason. Even if I'm not going on vacation, your videos bring me joy as if I am. Thank you for sharing your trips with the world. ❤
I have been here.. this place is beautiful and I snorkeled with Willem Dafoe and his lovely family.. altogether there were about 20 of us on the snorkeling trip with 5 of them the Dafoe family. OMG.. was he so nice and such a gentleman. He helped us all off of the boat when we went to our private island lunch.. WE LOVE THIS PLACE..
Hi guys, loving your videos they’ve been so helpful for planning my trip to Quintana Roo in February! Do you have the name of the snorkelling and starfish tour you did?? Thanks
Hello! It's the tour that's sold at Playa Palancar for Playa el Cielo. There is no official name for it, and you have to buy it at the hut on Playa Palancar. Hope that helps!
Hey Juliana y Martin. Love your video!!! We are taking 3 of our grandchildren on a cruise in March. We picked excursions at two of the ports, but not yet Cozumel. All 3 grandchildren are very athletic and love adventure. We will have already knocked out zip lining plus stingray/shark swimming at the prior stops. With their ages of 8 to 13, is there any other “must do’s” for them in Cozumel? As always, ❤️ LOVE ❤️ YOUR CHANNEL
Coffee that tastes like a reeses peanut butter cup! I was more excited about that than anything else! Didn't the water make you sick? Do they use bottled water? I'm going in September.
Trust us, that coffee is worth the trip alone! Still dreaming about it. We didn't get sick from the water, since filtered water is used. Have a great trip!
Loved your video! We will be here in April on the Celebration. Quick question the excursion on the ship says you must be 8 years old to do the catermaran snorkel tour. I really want to get to this beach with my six year old. Can we book a tour at playa del carmen with him being 6? We are not planning on snorkeling as im not a great swimmer but can we do it and just hang out at the shallow end?
Video coming on the Celebration very soon! It's a great ship! Usually if you do a tour on land, they should be more flexible than if you were to book on the ship. Just explain it to the tour operator and see what they think!
While we never have stayed overnight in Cozumel, we would probably recommend staying a couple nights here if you could. It's just so beautiful and there's even more to see here than what we showed. We'd definitely recommend it over playa del carmen!
Are the fresh fruits and vegetables and the iced drinks safe to eat? We know of Mexican Americans who return to visit family, only to get very ill from something they ate.
We felt pretty safe leaving it there as there were TONS of other scooters there. Just make sure you remember which one is yours! We had a little trouble finding ours after and had to review our own footage to figure it out hahaha
I'm going to visit all of the Riviera Maya next month and plan to do a snorkeling tour in Cozumel. Is there an entrance fee to go to Playa Palancar and if so should i pay in advance or can i pay when i arrive? I saw online that the beach club is $20 per person. So if i want to do the snorkel tour it would be $35 + $20?
Do not stay at the Allegro Resort! Do not book a trip to the Allegro where you actually have to stay. Food is worst than terrible. Rooms filled with bugs and bed bugs. Please do not stay here!
My husband and I want to visit Cozumel later this year. Do you think a week there is too long? Should we break up the stay with a few days in Playa? We'd likely visit Playa for a day trip if we stay on the island all week. :)
Considering one day would be spent getting there and one day would be spent going home, a week in Cozumel with a day trip to Playa would probably be perfect! If you get bored, you could also consider doing another day trip to Xcaret. It's easy enough with the ferry nearby :)
Juliana ... are you Brasilian ? Your name is VERY BRASILIAN ! I am from Florida but living in Brasil now Researching Mexico, never been there, do like the Yucatan tho, beaches look like the gulf coast of Florida. Worked on container ships, tankers, car carriers and ROLL ON-ROLL OFF ships for 35 years Seeing some condos for sale in Merida for $25,000 ! Worth checking out ?
I am not Brazilian, but I wish I was! Brazil is one of my favorite countries in the world and I have tons of friends there :) Merida is definitely worth checking out. Video on Merida coming to this channel on May 21! Stay tuned :)
@Tourist to Local and once you get there you just buy it anytime ? Or they have particular times for trips ? I searched Google maps and it says Dalila Divers but not sure..
Great video!! I would like to know where you exchange your currency USD/MXN? I hear the rates in the airport are horrible, hoping you can help me out. Also, what's the name of the tattoo shop??? Thanks!!!
We totally love Mexico, and making videos here is always a blast. And of course you can't beat the price! What's interesting in our challenge to see every state in both our countries is that we are also discovering areas of the USA that we never expected to love so much either. Highly recommend you keep watching as we make content in both spots, because we've got some surprises up our sleeves :)
The U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning for Cozumel due to an increase in violent crimes such as homicides, kidnappings, carjackings and robberies.1 Tourists arriving at Cozumel International Airport should be aware that they may be taken to a "Tourist Information" desk where they may be asked to purchase a timeshare.
While this is _technically_ true, it's only a level 2 warning, which is the same you would find if you traveled to the UK, France, Netherlands, Italy or Spain. Just keep your wits about you, like anywhere.
@@BHJ7115 Does someone in Denver need to be concerned if there was kidnapping in the Florida Keys? Because that’s how far apart these spots are in Mexico. Different parts of the country.
