DISCOVERING MONSTAX (pt2) - Find you, Dramarama, Love Killa, Nobody else & One Day Reactions 

Nobody else was composed by Hyungwon, it was his first track featured on an album!

Find you is such a beautiful song but at the same time heart breaking.

So Hyungwon got trapped in time, accidentally, I don't think he did it on purpose, and I do believe he tried to save his parents from their fate, but with all things time related, when you change one thing in time, other things change as a result. In Dramarama we see the boys are all split up, in different times and with different issues, Hyungwon the time traveler visits them and gives them time watches to allow them to try to change their own fates. Shownu and Wonho are years apart, and Wonho goes back to visit Shownu but when his watch is taken he's unable to go back and Shownu is left not knowing. Minhyuk and IM are childhood friends, and when Min travels back he is caught by the time police (M.I.B), Min is able to escape but without IM and his watch gets broken. Kihyun can't get over Jooheon's death that happened right after Jooheon dropped him off, and so Kihyun is trying to go back and stop it, but he can't so he asks Hyungwon to help him, and he does, by letting Kihyun swap places with Jooheon. In my opinion, the boys in the Dramarama video are not Hyungwon's "friends", they are different versions of them, from different time lines, but he wants to help them, because they're in a way, still his friends. You need to watch Destroyer to see how the boys find Hyungwon, but it's not really the end of this story. A lot of their MVs, like Follow have time references and talk about getting back to where they belong. Because they are all trapped in time. I really loved this time travel concept, it gives them room to do a lot of things and continuity is very fluid because time is. So what happened in the past, or in a past MV could actually be the future, or a different future, it's really a great concept. Thank you for watching, please more Monsta X!

So nobody else is hyungwons baby. It’s his first song he’s done and it happens to be the best on the album. He did such a good job on nobody else.

One Day is the first track of their second English album which is set to be released some time this year, we will probably get more information soon now that they dropped the first single. For their first English album (All About Luv) they dropped the first single (Who Do U Love) in June 2019, then three others always about 2-3 months apart (Someone‘s Someone, Love U, Middle Of The Night). The fifth single (You Can‘t Hold My Heart) was promoted for the album release on Valentine’s Day 2020. But I‘m pretty sure they’re faster this time and we don’t have to wait until some time next year 😅 For album recommendations... it‘s really hard, I think their recent albums are top tier, all three languages. So Fatal Love (the album from Love Killa) has so many great songs, Nobody Else is one of them (btw it’s written by Hyungwon) and One Of A Kind is also amazing! In May they also released their third japanese Album with Flavors of Love, I recommend Wanted, Diamond Heart, Re:Verse Day, Secret and Flavors of Love (because it‘s cute af). Other than that I can just tell you that their whole discography is amazing, their b-sides since debut are really great. So I‘ll recommend you 1 song per album... Him and Hyungwon just recently got the chance to actually show off their vocals I guess. The Storyline... I have no idea how to explain and there are way more videos involved than just those two 😅

That one right there spawned a fandom loved clip of Kihyun flexing his CD eating abilities! Lost in the dream Myself Underwater Mohae Night View U R I do love you I think your love of harmonies and melody could be appeased in a few of these! Keep up the great work!

Hyungwon is a time traveler. In "Find you" his parents die in a car accident and he uses his dad's magical watch to go back in time and try to save them, but it turns out he gets lost in time, between the two dimensions. "Dramarama" continues with the story of time travelling. You can see they try to use the watch to save Jooheon's from the car accident as well. Apparenty in this one they don't remember they know each other, since Hyungwon messed up with time. I personally think "Dramarama" is the most complicated mv of this particular stotyline. The final chapter of this story is the mv for "Destroyer" (hands down one of their best songs in my opinion). On that mv they keep tryingto figure out how to rescue Hyungwon and bring him back to the present (You should react to it as well,it is a very good one). The mv for Find You doesn't feature the entire song,, which might also be why it didnt seem to stick. Nobody Else is one of my favorite bsides from monsta x, and I'm not surprised you loved it! I would highly recommend the album Fatal Love which nobody else and love killa is from. It has different styles but all the songs are very monsta x. I'd also recommend Beautiful:The clan 2.5, which I'd say is a mix of rnb and edm which monsta x somehow always makes work. Anyways, thanks for checking out monsta x again! You'll love a lot of their B-sides and their English album ALL ABOUT LUV. I recommend UR, Underwater, Lost in the Dream, Mirror, and Myself for Korean b-sides that you REALLY need to check out. One thing about Monsta X is that they are not beholden to any set style and they do change and experiment with their sounds/style often

Hi everyone, you were wondering about the concept for some of their older videos and if you go back and watch videos in order you will notice it is about time travel. Even “Kiss or death” and “One day” touch on it also. Notice the phone booth at the end of “One day”. Hyungwon was in quarantine while filming that is why he is missing from the last scene of “One day”. Or was he… ?

Oh hai! A second reaction to one of my ult groups? Okaaaay! Dramarama came first, and Follow You is the sort of prequel. There's another piece, The Connect, which is more of a mini-movie and doesn't have a true song to it (though it sounds good) that is all about the "teams" trying to find Hyungwon. In FY, Hyungwon loses his parents and gains a time traveling watch. He tries to save his parents, and in doing so, I think, gives his friends access to time devices as well, but in each team (and for Hyungwon with his parents) everyone must have a loss, and despite efforts to change it, they can only do so by either accepting the loss as it happens, or sacrificing to change the loss. With I.M and Minhyuk, Minhyuk "loses" I.M by coming back to the future without him, same as Wonho without Shownu. Kihyun tries to save Jooheon through several time resets, but ultimately realizes he can't do it, and sacrifices himself instead, getting behind the wheel and going through the accident. Hyungwon watches Kihyun's struggle and realizes he himself can't change outcomes, either. There's tons of discussion about whether videos ahead and behind are same-universe, but I'll leave that alone. One Day was a welcome surprise, and I watched the behind-the-scenes video because I wondered why Hyungwon wasn't in the group shot. Turns out he shot his stuff solo because he was quarantined after his drama (!) had a COVID report on set. I'm so glad you liked this set of videos/songs. I'd recommend the "smaller" videos next: Rush, Beautiful (if you're not familiar), Fighter, Shine Forever, Hero (Rooftop = abs), Follow, Stuck, and the English stuff like Play it Cool, Who Do U Love. ❤

I highly recommend you to check out other MV: All In, Stuck, Fantasia, You Can’t Hold My Heart And also their B-Side: Underwater, Gravity, Addicted, Oh My, Gasoline, and Blind. And you must check out Beastmode Dance Practice and their Melon 2020 stage Monsta X is has the best discography. Never missed a song for me

find you is the first video like the beginning of the whole time travel storyline. hyungwon takes the watch that belongs to his dad and I think he goes and tries to save them etc etc and then I think he gets stuck or something bc he makes another watch and gives it to kihyun in dramarama. the story kinda confusing and hard

I love the concept and look of Love Killa, but again, I agree that it's not their strongest song. I really prefer Gambler, which came out after this and has a similar vibe in terms of MV and production, but the beat and melody are just much stronger. Love Killa for me is just too "same note" because it does stay a bit flat in the same vocal range the WHOLE TIME!

Find You will make any Monbebe cry... as it came out within days of Wonho being forced to leave the band due to rumors and it's just heartbreaking IN GENERAL!

Sorry, I know I'm a little late to your MX reactions, but I just saw this in my recommendations. Dramarama was Monsta X's first win in Kpop and I'm so proud of them! You mentioned about their videos. Interesting fact: The car crash in Dramarama was not GCI or computer-generated, but filmed using a real car. The scene was shot using a machine that rotated the car while Jooheon was inside it (and then Kihyun), followed by the crash of an actual car.

The whole The Dreaming album is right up your alley. It's so good, I play it in the car on repeat & at work...& no one complains because it's all in English. I love the album title track The Dreaming, it's very poignant. If you want more Jooheon vocals, check out Versace On The Floor on Sketchbook. Hyungwon is a Time Traveler trying to save his parents & help his friends who have suffered losses too.

Oooh. From the most recent album, I recommend “rotate”, a complete hoe song by I.M… and I’m not complaining. It’s so good. But they have an entire English album called All about Luv. I highly recommend you listen to that. “She’s the one” and “middle of the night” are two of of favourites

Nobody Else is definitely a three-peat song for me. MX songs on repeat in my car also include: Mohae, UR, Need U, Secrets, Incomparable, and Nightview. (Fatal Love is pretty much a no-skip EP). Their b-sides are where it’s at! Enjoyed your reaction!

I feel like any album would do, their discography is on point. In their earlier days they were much more focused on having an overall more hard hitting sound tho, so if you don't like "unmelodic" choruses as much maybe take a look at their last few album and also their English album. I still recommend all their songs tho basically. It's not like they didn't have soft hours in their early days just a little sparse. Also thank youfv or the reaction.

Everybody already explained, but the order of the videos for the timeline plot are: -Dramarama -Destroyer film -the connect tour vcr filme -find you And you’re right, they of work like Marvel filme, it’s not chronological order lol Nobody else is a masterpiece. Actually the Fatal Love album is, my personal favorites are Thriller and Last Carnival.
