Fantasia isn't only beautiful MV, at 1st look it looks different than old ones and it can look not that deep or without "history". Fantasia is a first comeback after Monsta X lost one member - Wonho. MV and song is a diss against media, antis etc. who tried to destroy them with false accusations (that's why Wonho left Monsta X). Dancers who dance next to them are media and antis (hyenas) to get them. IM before his part burning newspapers. At the end they won (standing next to lying dancers like kings) because they are still strong to they move forward.

I saw them at Wembley Stadium a couple of years ago and their concert was a rave. Truly wild! Play It Cool has a party vibe and they have some slow songs like Myself which show another side of them.

I love Trespass but all I can ever hear is Seventeen's karaoke version where Hoshi was overtaken by the spirits of Jooheon and Kihyun (same with Seventeen's Clap, where it's just Jooheon telling Baksu at the beginning) I feel like you'd really like their Love Kills album - very inspired by rnb and the harmonies are crazy

Monsta X is where it's at! They might not have been my "first love" in kpop, but it did not take long for them to become my favorite. The first song I heard was Jealousy a week after it came out, which happened to be the first week of my first semester in college, and I was immediately hooked. I'm obviously one of the biggest multis to ever exist, but MX hits different! My online name is Monbebesaurus for a reason.

Jealousy is the song that made me keep coming back to MX when other songs didn't stick. Those vocals and harmonies. And once Jooheon took over the title tracks, they haven't missed. Honestly, I am not a fan of very many groups, 3 or 4, tops. Monsta X is just undeniable.

MONSTAX also have some R&B songs in their album. I think you will love Nobody Else (Hyungwon made that song), Broken Heart, Amen, etc. Like others said in comment section, MONSTAX songs are versatile, they did many genres. My journey with mx has been a long one for sure! They’re even the first kpop group I saw live (absolutely amazing). I fell in love with their early work and sort of fell off them around the time wonho left the group. I still kept up with all the comebacks but the music was just not hitting the same (still great bsides here and there tho) until gambler. Gambler woke me tf up and got me interested in their music again like I used to be. I definitely recommend you checking out their bsides! I had tons of fun watching this video. I am so happy you reacted to All In, it is my number one song from their entire discography! The MV tackles a lot of heavy-based themes such as queer love and the struggles surrounding the people involved, suic*de, homoph*bia, etc. It is part of The Clan trilogy: Lost, Guilty, Beautiful. A lot of people said that The Clan represents the LGBT struggles starting with questioning yourself (feeling Lost), trying to convert (feeling Guilty of who you are), accepting yourself (seeing how Beautiful you are) and with the completion of the Trilogy going through the stages of discovering who you truly want to be. You might want to check out Find You, Dramarama (these two MVs are connected storywise with a third one I can't recall right now), Stuck, Beautiful, Shoot Out, Follow, too. Plus, I highly recommend their live version of Versace On The Floor plus the rap line's Sambakja live performance and Beastmode (no MV for this, just dance practice)! They also have a full English album and will be dropping a new English track in around a week. And definitely check out their dance practices, they are sooo good (my faves are Shoot Out, Alligator, Jealousy, Follow, Beastmode and the dance practice for their SBS performance of All In)! I'd describe them as the gentlemen of kpop in the sense that yeah, they can get down and dirty, but they also feel sophisticated and suave. Monsta x were always unique within the industry. A lot of what they did in their debut days such as the concepts, clothing, makeup, and the overall aura of the bad boy/manly vibes they gave wasn't as popular then as it is now, if that makes sense? They still are painfully underrated, and I think because this generation likes to baby the idols presented nowadays, such as younger gen groups, and with Monsta x you really can't baby them as much. idk that's personal opinion. But what you brought up about the change within their lyrics and videos from meaningful to basic radio songs was something I thought about too. they have been interviewed and talked about their days then and how they like being a masculine group since it's them, but they have said they wanted to explore more styles, styles that they personally like. For example, jooheon and I.M have been producing more of their songs, which explains the change since it's from them. the lyrics still have a deep meaning, but it's more catered towards adults, with mature meanings but with a twist I.M likes to say. the music they're putting out now is more their styles put together and reflects them as people and what they like y'know. idk what this rambling mess was but i understand about your observation of their song history, and i just wanted to put my opinion :) thank you for checking them out! i suggest listening to their b-sides, their english songs, shoot out, dramarama, and I.Ms 'goddamit' and the album duality from him!

So Monsta X has 3 storylines, one is the time one, which is ongoing. One is the Clan storyline which is completed - the Blue Flowers. And the Seven Deadly Sins one which you see in Alligator and Shootout. Although with Wonho gone, I think this one is probably done as well. As for Fantasia it was the first comeback without Wonho. The last comeback with Wonho was Follow btw. i felt you a lot on this video. i was really into monsta x in the earlier years until shoot out, but ever since they went into the more edm route i've been falling behind with their releases since it's not really my thing, but gambler pulled me right back into them. too bad the members started enlisting :( they are an amazing group, and accomplished so much, but i still feel like they should get more recognition because they are trully a one of a kind group.

Watching these just now and we are SO not the same 😂 I can’t imagine learning any groups’ names before liking their music. If I don’t LOVE their music (like, more than 20 songs downloaded and in rotation and watch their content) I don’t even bother trying to learn names cause it’s too much work for me 😂😂😂❤️
