XG producer Simon is a half of Korea and Japan, he was a member of Kpop boy's group 'DMTN' around 2012. Doing music activities or being a Kpop idol in Korea was his dream, so he became a producer in Korea after 'DMTN' disbanded. (He was born in Seattle and grow up in Korea, graduated from Japanese music university) He was also an 'Avex' trainee in Japan, so he formed XG and produces that Japanese girls👍🌈✨ (All XG girls were Avex trainees💕)

You should check out their rap line in GALZ XYPHER, this song doesn't fully show their talents. A lot of people also think their B side, Left Right, is just as good as this song, if not better. I would listen to their first two songs after all that, Mascara and Tippy Toes hit different after seeing their cypher and this whole comeback. Initially I knew I'd be watching out for them, but Tippy Toes feels like a new song now imo. Regardless, I love that the youngest will be 18 this year, and they aren't super young for their concepts, while only a few years older than NewJeans it makes a difference.
