@@TheTablePaper he literally has the typical Somali aquiline features, thin nose, raised cheekbones, the only difference is he's more light skinned than average somali men but his features are very very Somali

That women is a lose to all Somali. May Allah her mercy on her soil amin. She was good person and powerful and may Allah bless her. She will always be remembered in somali community as Hero.
And they say Somali features are weak, I can see the Somali in him, mashallah. We had a similar story were my great uncle was sent to Soviet Russia in 1970s to study ended up with a Russian girl and the family didn't know until his youngest son came looking for him 15 years ago. We are still praying for the older one but my grandmother said to give him space his time will come.
Lol, I have a similar story in my family. My mothers uncle went to Russia to study medicine. He married a Rusian girl, and opened a GP in Mogadishu where they lived together and had a child. But when the war started they moved to the states.
This 27th night of Ramadan I wish for our hearts to be at ease by Allah bringing to Islam those family members of ours who are non Muslims. My sister is struggling with her faith.

Hassan Ali No one is saying they shouldn't be financially independent obviously they do, but whats up with somali men having kids then leaving as if there not related to them? You don't know how hard it is to look after a lot of children also with relying on men thats not necessarily somali women's fault as they were raised to be house wives doing the cooking and cleaning while the husband works on behalf of the family and thats why from a young age somali women are taught how to cook and clean when the boys aren't but now most people are independent & instead of bashing and shaming women lecture the dead beat somali men, in Islam women are obliged to leave the mans kids with them and leave if they want to but no one does that because their not mentally sick.

Parents play huge role establishing child's identity. I think Omar his mom raised him well. Good is universal thing. I think she did a good job at that and it made Omar's journey to Islam and good things in life easy. Alxamdullilah. Bless his mom.

I wish I could find my two cousins last time my uncle was in UK I don't exactly know which city , but after he passed away no one knows where they are.
