the arithmetic sequence portion of the video and the last example has a mistake, it would be a sub n = 7 +(-3n) ...(she says -3d)

You've turned a concept from a 3 hour lecture and an hour of reading the textbook into an easy 12 minute easy to digest concept. Thank you so much!

06:05 shouldn't this be -3n instead? a = 7, d = -3; an = 7 - 3n

Excellent video. I really mourn for my professors ability to teach, when I see things made simple like this; in a short video instead of a 1 hour lecture. Thanks for saving hours of my free time!

I missed my discrete math class one day and asked someone to send me the notes, and he took terrible notes and I didn't get anything... we have a quiz today and this saved me thank you so much

You are on par with The Organic Chemistry Tutor when it comes to explaining new concepts, but I cannot express how much I think you are truly amazing you are for putting together this whole course on RU-vid. Your passion for teaching is commendable and your willingness to share your passion for free is highly deserving of praise. Thank you so much!

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.😊😊❤😊

In both types of sequences you are using n instead of (n-1)...so kindly make sure...otherwise your lecture is tooo much comfortable

What’s the difference between the recursive (n-1) and non-recursive (n) formula for arithmetic and geometric series? When do we use one or the other ?
@SawFinMath
@SawFinMath 2 года назад
The difference between algebraic and Geometric is how we get from one value to the next (recursively). An Algebraic series involves addition, while Geometric involves multiplication. The difference between recursive and explicit is that a recursive definition requires one or more initial values, while an explicit function only needs the value of n.

You have some little mistake in Arithmetic sequence to explain point(1)....you should make sure...By using your question statement when we will find a-sub-n. Then we use this...a-sub-n=5+(n-1)2. Instead of a-sub-n=5+2n.best of luck👻
@SawFinMath
@SawFinMath 3 года назад
It isn't an error. You are defining the sequence recursively. I am not.
