Discus Fish Diary - Decreased Algae, how? superb tank mates, experimental planting, a surprise pair 

We missed a week and much has happened. The algae issue seems in check but the lights are turned up. This discus fish tank still isnt looking its best but its getting there. The water is now perfect and its showing in the fish. New sand and lights have caused the algae to come back. I wish I didnt get rid of my old plant so the challenge now is to get the plants back to how they were before the flukes.
