He was talking about real beefs not all these gay guys chirping back n forth in an attempt to get hip hop fans back into hip hop but I see through this week attempt and refuse to listen to any of today's rap artists it's all fake actors trying to be someone they are not
@@SpAzZzZz_ no, the weeknds managers security was shot last week in LA. He’s Canadian. This a home soil thing. Got nothing to do with Kendrick, Drake ‘got a lot of enemies’ after all
Drake vs Kendrick is easily the best rap beef I ever witnessed. When J Cole backtracked and apologized I knew someone from Kendrick's camp convinced him it was gonna get ugly
That's what I'm thinking. I really think someone else who has beef with Drake told Cole that Kendrick legitimately hates Drake and is ready for war. He doesn't want to be in the crossfire cause it's not about just dissing. Kendrick went straight for drakes whole character as a rapper, actor and a man.
I actually respected Cole for doing that on stage tbh and I really believe that he never wanted to do any of it in the first place from what he was saying. Also in my opinion Drake is so lame and his music all sounds the same. His music is copy and paste and all sounds the same, he has like 3 different style of song. Kendrick is always pushing boundaries and is a lyricist and I think in this beef Kendrick won by a landslide. Look it up Drake DM'd on of Kendrick's friends asking for info and he told Kendrick so their team lied to Drake and then Drake sent the dude $150K so there's no way he can win. Which I saw people like $150K isn't anything to Drake but if you ask me $150K is $150k. Rich or not. Kendrick > Drake ALSO If you want to see a deadly one that's crazier and a lot sadder is the Lil Durk vs NBA Youngboy and I'm 99% sure its the deadliest rap beef by far. A lot of bodies have dropped on both sides and are still being dropped.
It doesn't matter dude I'd rather be up to date and know what's happening right now then only know and stuck in the past it makes you disconnected and alien its kind of sad
@@IrishJudahTribedumbest fucking comment i seen. “yea let’s tell kendrick to call our money maker that brings in endless amount of money a pedophile, that surely wouldn’t damage his image or our image” think a lil more buddy
@@IrishJudahTribeKendrick vs Drake ain't a fake beef. You think Drake's camp was ok with Kendrick calling him a pedo??? He ain't canceled but his reputation is def tainted
@hookev5303 yea I love kendrick but his woke antics annoying me. I've seen him diff after embrassing that white girl on stage after she accidentally said the n word because she was singing his song.
First rap beef I heard was Roxanne Shanty vs the Real Roxanne, long before LL Cool J & Kool Moe D, Ice Cube & Easy E, MC Hammer vs. everybody 🤣🤣🤣 Beef is nothing new in Hip-Hop
I think on Kendrick’s side this is more than a beef with Drake, it seems like under the guise of Drake hate he’s really talking about how fucked the whole industry and the players at the top are.
Period. If they think Kendrick lost a wink of sleep after 10 years of consistently firing shots then he doesn't understand people beyond goobers and weenie hut junior attendees. And don't even get me started on "positivity". I hate when they lazily comment on our shit while passing judgement as if that judgement matters AT ALL. It's disrespectful and feels like they're talking like people looking at a zoo display and talking shit about the animals. Should they settle it in the streets then? No? Then let them keep making art.
You watch his special it was great actually. An I can't lie I was hating on his last one I seen the one after his big hit special but this one was funny. Won me back with that one.
He would probably consider it woke tbh take that however you wish. Kendrick speaks on some deep truths that many in Joe's orbit don't want to address - not about rap, about history and how America has treated the people who built our foundation...
@@oregonvibez listen man, I’m pretty right leaning and Kendrick is by far my favorite artist. He speaks for his people and what he believes is true and I have nothing but respect for that. His thought structure is like nothing I’ve listened too. I believe he’s the best rapper to ever do it. And I love Drake too but he should have never said shit about that man’s family. So here we are now.
Dizzy Wrights better matter of fact all of Funk Volume when they was together was better. All those rappers fucked Hopsin. An the. Jarren Benton. Only one in FV that was meh was SwizZz and he still leagues better. These mainstream rappers are just popular. An how about Durand the rapper. King Los all and of tech 9 Rittz. These guys just don't get the love they deserve people too busy obsessed with mid rappers. Just my opinion though hell futuristic and locksmith too. Shizzy six or whatever he changed his name to now. An I'm not even scratching the surface. I think Kdot is one of the better popular rappers like J Cole but those dudes are not the best rappers not even close.
And the nerve to say...imagine if they were putting that much creativity in positivity...Completely missing the historical implication of this moment...for us African-American and apparently, music charts!!! Our cultural and artistic experiences are worth protecting and that is why this paradigm shift is happening...and so many can't understand the phenomena because they can't relate...but they are now trying to get updated, cause the aftershocks are still resonating globally and they know that means power and wealth..what a time to be alive and awake🖤🖤
@@michaelmonroe2148he’s def a rapper you gotta give him respect . I love kdot but drake ain’t ever back down he’s been in so many battles n this one might be the greatest rap battle ever he held his own kdot just better.
if calling someone out as a child groomer, pedophile, deadbeat, womanizer, industry plant, culture vulture, wanna be, ghostwriting, fake ass, Brazilian body, scary boy, then yeah. I guess it's a poem. but tbh, nah, this was much more of an exposing the industry and hurting heavy hearts, then your typical poem beefa.
That can never happen drake already broke historic records that will go down in music history this ain’t a one hit wonder or upcoming rapper to be career ending you ignoramous
These are the greats for kids, older people think they are mid. I see Drake as a cute little r&b music maker with huge team of rap writers and Kendrick as a master poet. But deffs not my greats.
@WikDgunner who in their right mind thinks that Kendrick Lamar is mid? I understand not liking Drake as an old school hip-hop head, but idk where youre getting that Kendrick idea from
@@LILCHEESE99 When old heads name the Greatest of all time they are not putting Kendrick, I get it hes the best this generation has but he's probably not on the list of greats for anyone born before 95 and definitely not on anyone's list that was born before 85. Like i said I think hes a good poet but I am speaking about list of GOATS among older fans of hip hop.
Facts. As a kid I thought Nas did ether jay. But adult me realized that nas just said funny jokes. Whereas Jay dissected him and dissed his whole career
Drake essentially folded with that super underwhelming Heart Part 6 song and rapped about how he's going to dip from the beef. Kendrick obliterated him every which way; I can't say I didn't predict this outcome but I loved to finally see it.
I'm surprised that there aren't more comments like this. How tf are you a fan of rap music and totally oblivious of what was probably the genesis of the east coast west cost beef?
@@joelhusbands3838 Exactly, and also he mentioned that Tupac only dissed Biggie once when in actuality, Pac had a handful of songs attacking Biggie and Bad Boy
@@KoreaMojo He’s in his 30s and sure a lot of folks in their 30s do know about all ^this^ but he’s also talked about going to a VERY Christian school & that may or may not have limited his exposure to certain things lol Either way you’re right, most people don’t care to look into the history of much of anything - especially if that “much” that isn’t right in front of them.
I've never heard of Tim Dogg or that song. I was born in the year 2000 though I haven't really gone back and listened to much 80s gangsta rap, doesn't appeal to me. Obviously I've heard most of NWAs stuff. I'm more of an East Coast hip hop fan as NYC was the birthplace of the genre. I respect people like KRS ONE for example
@@kumajin3621 facts but biggie killed by a blood named poochie, suge was in jail at the time and told his baby mama to give him $12,000 she kept $7,000 and gave poochie the rest
Whenever Joe hears about a new trendy topic, instead of asking questions about it, he always reverts it back to something he knows. Come on Joe. We want you to dig deeper. When someone brings up Red Dead 2, don’t talk about Quake for the 9000th time.
Joe talking out his wazu here, "I like someone who can really piece together a story" like man... literally Kendrick Lamar's skill at rapping its insane, he just completely ignorant to his music saying the 90s better but listen here Joe please please. Seems to think Kendrick is some beef rap artist like no
And Joe is right... 90s is better. Why? Cause Kdot is an exception not the standard. In the 90s, yea Nas was at the top of the list, but it was a long list and the rankings were close. Can you make a list like that today with 4 other mainstream rappers that come close(rhetorical)?
He literally sat there and said "imagine if they put that much creativity in positivity." Joe doesn't know jack about rap and he definitely hasn't listened to any of Kendrick's material.
Joe Rogans favorite rapper is Nas and favorite group is the Ghetto Boys, hes had em on already. Also wtf are you tlking about? Just bcus he doesnt want to listen to the New era shit.
@@paulyshore350 in fighting, being significantly taller than your opponent usually implies that your heavier and have a longer reach which in this case, Drake does by a lot. So yes it does mean something… and of course it doesn’t mean an automatic winner, but it does mean that Drake would more than likely mess Kendrick up 😂
@@sketched9069 your talking about factors that may matter with equally talented pro fighters...in a street fight between anybody else, one being taller doesn't really say anything. I always wondered why people assumed that about someone who is bigger. If you've ever participated in an type of physical competition you know that there are a lot of people that are big for nothing.
I thought of that too!!! South Bronx to Bridge is over…. He’s a Killer!!! His brother (Kenny Parker runs a podcast on RU-vid on Tuesdays at 8pm… great content!!!)
So you know, Kendrick grew up fighting, is from Compton, and affiliated, if not, a full-blown member of the Westside Piru gang. He has lyrics about being drunk before and fighting back. The whole GKMC record it's about being able to defend yourself. Greg, to most of our knowledge, has never been in a fight in his life. To say because Kendrick is small, that he would get beat up, is like saying a regular dude can run up on Mighty Mouse or Floyd Mayweather, simply because they're smaller...
Hip hop is a multibillion dollar industry, is mainstream in 50+ countries, and has influcened pop culture through fashion, language, and other trends for decades. And he has had Snoop, Wiz, Kayne, Post malone, etc on the show... But sure, if Rogan is talking about it, then I guess it finally made it big😂🤣
Right? So over the scrutiny of painted nails. It's been done since the late 90s in the punk / hardcore / goth / metal / numetal / pop punk movements and now within the past decade it's gay? lmao okay tell me you only listen to one genre without telling me.
@@brettpilkington9539 King Von, Mo3 & Drakeo are three huge rappers killed by other rappers and/or associates from rap beef. @@trillcrunkof all you mentioned Xxx, Pop and Nipsey were huge and non of them was killed on rap beef. They happened to hang around shooters. Von, Mo3 and Drakeo are barely known outside the US. Von was a gangsta that happened to be growing a rapper reputation. In the 90s there were a lot of those but no one gave them attention coz they were known ganstas. People then preferred to listen to the real rappers. They knew the difference
I think it’s wild how Kendrick speaks in his music about thinking twice and being bigger by having a better mind state than the streets, pretty much what joes stance was on beefing. Just goes to show how what’s happening isnt just a modern rappers beef for clout, it’s who’s more respected in the eyes of rap. I think if Joe Rogan listen to Kendrick a lil more he’d be very interesting, I mean he was talking about how he loves lyrics and nas story telling, in no way comparing but Kendrick is easily the best lyrical rapper in this generation. There’s proof of this with DAMN the whole album being reversible is a great way too put Kendrick’s genius in comparison to nas’s “rewind” I just liked how most of the video was Joe siding with Kendrick, assuming he hasnt listened to either. Kendrick tried to warn drake about stepping over that line that Joe agreed is too far. (Family involvement)
Funny to hear them speak about Tim Dog, first rapper to actually fake his death after scamming a lot of people out of money- A whole other conversation lol
