I'm MtF, but I find this video incredibly interesting. It's so hard (pun intended) to find information, pictures, or surgery videos on metoidioplasty, which makes it all the more fascinating and such a good thing to have uploaded. I didn't realize there was so much to being FtM until a good friend of mine told me about the surgery. Thank you so much for the upload and links!

As I watched this video, my pure white cat was cleaning himself behind my screen... I noticed that yours was doing the same in the background of the video. Nothing to do with the topic, but I thought it was a cool coincidence :)

There actually is a homologous structure to the prostate called the Skene's gland (I believe I spelled it right) and in some people it can release fluid, very similar to semen without the sperm, however it's usually only stimulated by manual penetration (that's actually what the G-spot is). Fascinating stuff.
@wormwoodbush3537
@wormwoodbush3537 6 лет назад
sunnysea24 women don't have a prostate, or do you mean that the g-spot is like a prostate? When a woman ejaculates (which only some women can do, not all), the fluid comes from the vagina, so if the vagina is closed up, how does a trans man ejaculate? I couldn't figure that out when he mentioned it on the video. I'm genuinely intrigued.

Wormwood bush I heard it comes from the urethra not the vagina and its not urine ,they say it has some traces of urine only ,like squirting basically

I was always envy to people who can squirt (before I’ve realized I’m trans) but didn’t think through the fact that it will stay the same way after urethral lengthening. it’s indeed amazing and gotta be quite gender affirming. it is in fact different versions of the same organ. I’m so amazed by how similar female and male genitalia is. will check out some tutorials maybe I can learn how to squirt…

Fun to watch your "old vids" just because it shows how you have progressed and where you have gone with what you prefer as opposed to what you THOUGHT you wanted. ILY Chase, you are my FIRST RU-vidr! Kudos and I will watch more of your "old" videos to see where my body wants to take me. BILLION+ STARS AND LIKES!!!

This information is really great! It possibly opens up some new options for me. I was thinking before that I may not be able to get bottom surgery, at least not with my current health because of a high bleeding risk. but that was when I was looking at things that involved also doing the vaginectomy. So, it would most likely lower my risks to not gave the vaginectomy, and just do the procedure you were talking about having yourself. As much as I would like my body to be as male as possible, I've come to terms with the fact that I may not be able to have bottom surgery unless my health improves. So having this option is very encouraging to me and, I do enjoy forward penetration too so to it wouldn't be too big of a deal to keep that. I've already had a hysterectomy so, no worries on that. In fact that's partly how I know I'm at a high risk for bleeding for the bottom surgery unless my health improves. I had a lot of abnormal bleeding right after my hysterectomy. My surgeon couldn't find a reason for the bleeding and ultimately had to go back in to reinforce the stitches to make sure nothing got missed even though there was no obvious sign of where the issue was coming from. But, I'm diabetic and have high blood pressure so those factored don't help things at all. Anyway, this video gave me some hope that I might at least be able to get some version of bottom surgery done with out as much risk. I'll definitely be sharing this with my fiance. Thanks!

Thank you so much for posting this video in a way that's so educational and non-judgemental for people considering metoidioplasty and those who are just curious about what it is and want to learn more. Great content.

It's so fascinating how physicality, and our appearances play such a big role in how we feel about ourselves and others (both TRANS and CIS people) sexually. We've come such a long way in science and medicine. I'm also genuinely grateful to have grown up in such a way to be very loving, and open minded. My first experience with meeting a trans person was when I was 9 or 10 years old. She also happened to have the name as me. She lived next door to us. My Mom and my fellow neighbors never tried to hide her transition from me. It wasn't like some sore subject not to be spoke of, like some dirty secret. She still showed some male characteristics throughout transitioning of course, but she would simply answer any questions, and didn't hide the matter from me/us. They just explained that she was once a "he"...and has now chosen to be who she felt she was born to be all along. It was easy to accept the situation, and her as a person, because as a kid I wasn't "tainted" so to speak, or influenced by all the stereo-typing and nastiness of the world. I grew to love HER as a person, regardless of gender. It wasn't important. I think early exposure to such diversity might actually help to rid us of such societal stigmas and judgement. If you're raised without hate, or judgement, or fear, and learn early on that they're many people that make up our world, all diverse and all beautiful, it makes you more likely to love people simply as people. Being trans gendered isn't some "dirty" secret, or topic of shame for freaks, or misfits. I'm grateful that my Mom didn't raise me to believe such ignorance ; )

I absolutely love your channel. You're so honest, open and extremely intelligent and articulate in the way you speak. I have a loved one that just came out as trans female to male. I want to learn everything I possibly can about how he is feeling and what the options are for him. If it wasn't for you I would be completely lost. I know I can't be the only person, if you haven't heard it today I want you to know you are fucking amazing!!!! Thank you so much for all these videos keep them coming! Lastly you are also funny as hell!

I really want to have metoidioplasty done, and I agree the results are hot :) I think you provide with good information here as well, especially since I'm all about learning all I can about this procedure rather lately to better understand what can be done and such. And uhm, in case it's needed to be said, I am ftm and have already had top surgery 3 years ago and have been on testo for 3,5 years now.

1) You're shirt looks great! 2) Thank you for the video on metoidioplasty. I'm also seriously considering this procedure. I had written off any invasive surgeries (especially any skin removal), but then I started to read more about metoidioplasty and it's not as invasive and I am impressed with the results. 3) I agree with being preemptively positive about an impending body part. 4) You rock!

Ohh Chase, the one small small criticism I would have is that you should stop apologizing for saying the proper names of body parts! :) It's just like saying "elbow" or "buttcheek" - don't paneek!
@SockMonster713
@SockMonster713 10 лет назад
The reason he apologizes is because he's mainly talking to an audience of trans men. If he was saying the word "clitoris" to cis women to describe their bodies, it would be like "elbow" or "buttcheek". But for trans men it's difficult for many of us to hear those words applied to our anatomy. He's just being thoughtful. :)
@artistenoire
@artistenoire 10 лет назад
I suppose, but I find that in frank discussions that it's best to just say the words, and if it's troublesome, just add a disclaimer at the start of the video? Then again I am not a trans* man so I cannot fully understand the issue at hand. :) Thanks for the reply.
@AshtonColby
@AshtonColby 10 лет назад
***** As a transman I have to agree with SockMonster713. I don't refer to my junk as "clitoris" in every day terms. Even though I haven't had surgery I am most comfortable referring to what I have down there as my dick. When discussing medical stuff, yeah, it makes sense and is easier for people to understand what "parts" you are talking about when you use more biologically correct terms but if I am not in the mood to hear about my junk being referred to in a "female" sense it would make me really upset to not have that warning. I think Chase just does it out of respect. I do the same thing in my videos when I have to refer to anatomical parts for the reason of medical oriented descriptions. The disclaimer is not like, "Oooh, we are going to be talking about explicit things now", its more to give warning to the potential dysphoria triggering use of "female" words to describe what it being talked about. :)
@artistenoire
@artistenoire 10 лет назад
I appreciate your feedback, Ashton Colby and SockMonster713 ! I really didn't think about this as a cis-female. I really can't understand fully the things trans* folks go through and I really feel better informed from your comments! :) I always think, "Oh no! We will call things by their proper names and we will not be afraid to talk about sex!!" but I never considered the fact that folks in the trans* community can be sensitive about different terms relating to anatomy. Thanks so much, you guys! Thank you for the gentle and friendly correction.

***** I strongly appreciate when people are willing to open themselves to other perspectives. How much suffering would be avoided if everyone just did that on a daily basis? Plus, I don't know if it's your real name but if I could've had a child I would've liked to call her Astrid. Or Adelaïde.

@SebastianSeanCrow

I don't think you have to apologize for using "clitoris". It's anatomically correct grammar. TBH, I saw your Effects of T video and was very confused about some things you said due to the lack of actually naming body parts. I believe "clitoris" should be a word and part taught in health class (sexual anatomy lessons are very minimal and lack a whole lot of information). But I also prefer clear communication on things like anatomy. I'm not meaning to criticise you (okay, I'm doing it, but CONSTRUCTIVELY), but I just think that if you used anatomical terms (only if you're comfortable with it though) it would be easier to understand. I still find some of your videos very informational, though, and I enjoy watching them. I'm just... IDK, anatomy positive???

I know this is an old post but a few things should be cleared up, first the Dht gel is no longer available in Canada or the United States unless some states carry it but I doubt it. Very few guys can have penetrated sex after a meta and many cannot stand to pee due to the length of the phallus. As far as Jerking off, again few can manage that as well. You have created a much brighter picture than what it actuality is. Sorry to disappoint anyone but I'm speaking from experience and many of my friends who had meta are in the same situation. I believe that very few guys are able to penetrate after meta. I had Crane do my initial surgery or phase 1 and Dr Santucci did the other 2 phases. You can send questions or concerns if you like.

Just so you know, the release isn't included in the covered surgery plan from the RAMQ. So, to get it cvered, you'd have to fight more than to get any other bottom surgery here.

@julielevesque6034
@julielevesque6034 10 лет назад
BecomingMat101 I have another question :3 Do you know if RAMQ covers meta if it's only release + uthera or do you have to have testicular implants and the hole modified? Those details are so stressful, why are they fussy about not covering some (simpler and less costly) variations of the surgery? Because they're not "trans enough"? And I still need to wait 8 months to be able to do anything about it anyway.

Great vid! Just FYI many of my friends who have gone to bowers had severe complications and fistulas. Check out dr crane in sf. He's an actual urologist and plastic surgeon so he legit knows what he's doing. Read his accolades and you'll see how experienced he is! He also does phalloplasty! He took over dr brownsteins practice. I was going to go to bowers for the longest time until I did a huge amount of research and chatted with many who went to her. Results- great complications-badddd

I’m an actor so I don’t want any huge scars or months of recovery for phalloplasty, and maybe this is tmi but I’m gay and a bottom. I’ve been on T for awhile and got top surgery two days ago so I think if I did want to transition more all I would get is metiodplasty and hysterectomy.
