Have you ever thought about having an discuss episode where the hunters record themselves rewatching your edit? I think that might be fun to hear what they think knowing they were so close sometimes.

I think some tasks like 'kill a hunter' should be given at the start as a general goal that has to be completed at some point, and ones like 'turn on/off headlights' be given at random like it was here.

I really liked this new format, the objective-based STH's of recent have been very entertaining. Especially because if you compare it with the earlier ones, the hunters have become much more attuned to recognizing you as not being an AI.

the rocket at the end was unfortunate. you got a full lock on and should have killed whoever it was, but it hit a lamp post. a second earlier or later and you probably would have gotten away with it. Loved the random singing prompted by particular locations.

Would love to see tasks added permanently. Maybe just five or ten... and they need to save ones like "honk the horn" until the hunters are out and about.

Honestly I was both excited and surprised when I saw how long this special event was. And that's a good thing. I understand you don't want a five hour video, and that little tweaks can be made here and there to tidy it up (for lack of a better term). But you also don't want to have it too short either. LOVED the video. LOVED the special. See, I told you the Blonde hair and Blue shirt were a dead giveaway and it was. Haha.

I love how after so many hunts, the hunters seem to be as disorganized as a random lobby. You'd think they would have a strategy and clear communications down by this point. Too busy having fun I suppose.

The blimp being like "what the heck is this car doing" to Christine was pretty funny. I liked the ending scene with the hunters' reactions like it's a police standoff with a gunman.

Fun fact, there's no lock-on sound when you're in a car. Only in air vehicles. BTW congrats on 500K!! You deserve way more subs though!!!

The main chase was pretty epic - all the way from the Hunters going stealth till they had enough people, to the eventual escape after way to many near misses! Good job all you people!

Honestly, STH Taskmaster was the best STH you've ever done. I would love for this to become the primary format for the series going forward.

The not-switching-clothes thing is a pet peeve of mine, so I came up with a couple mnemonic devices: "switch car, switch clothes;" OFF : "On-Foot, Fashion." Dumb, I know, but whatever might help 😁

I loved this episode but you being so impatient on the last challenge really was a bummer, would almost call it self-sabotage lol. I think it might be better if you're given the tasks every x minutes regardless of completing the last one. That way, you can kill a hunter if the opportunity arrives (like with Laddo) instead of HAVING to self-sabotage within x-minutes. And then the hunters still (kinda) know what task you might be doing. Or be given the tasks list from the start, but that means the hunters have no clue which task you're doing, which is less fun of course.

This was a lovely surprise, it was a great hunt, I don't think any of us minded the length of the video, much appreciated, thank you.

I think the best way to do these next time is to just have the normal time limit, and see how many you can do in the limited time! You'd always have the pressure to do as many as you can within the time limit so it wouldn't be stale.

This hunt was a little longer than normal, but it was fun. Would be a cool idea for the holidays, with some tasks fitting the holiday.

After so narrowly escaping the nigh unshakeable ZR350, Alex squared up in the open with an unwieldy alien cannon against a lvl 547 certified GTA badass.. Alternative title for this video: “Survive Raregliscor1”

If the RU-vid algorithm didn't punish longer videos, I'd say please do more of these long episodes - it was amazing! So much drama, the varied tasks, it was hectic, it was fun!

Loved the format. I always thought it would be cool to add kind of a scavenger hunt aspect to Survive The Hunt, and this comes pretty close. Nice job.

I was eagerly awaiting this one and hopefully one from LongBow as well. The hunt was so good.

IMO the custom RX-7 shouldn't have been allowed as a hunter vehicle. It's very quick compared to the majority of street cars and makes the chases a lot less interesting.

Bring back this format for April 1st. I think it could work as an April Fools edition too.

Allowing the hunters to fire off flares from their car for communication on location might be an interesting rule change

I loved the gameplay on this one, I am not sure you could do it all the time and keep it fresh but it is fun. It's sort of like the chaos mod for STH. I do think that the killing as hunter one was slightly easier than you turned it into though. Being out and away from the car was an issue. Once you took the first shot and failed, you should have been back in the car and leaving the area. Standing around with a gun, any gun really, was your death. Standing and trading blows was a death sentence. Overall a great new mode and one I would like to see more of, perhaps hybrid with the need to take out Pris.

If two of your possible tasks isnt "Paint your car bright orange" and "Change into your suit for 1 min" then I am going to be disapointed. Someone else also suggested tasks for the hunters, which i think is a good idea. Two suggestions there might be "Swap vehicle with another hunter" or "Drive your bright pink Pri". Good format, keep it up!

One idea - group the tasks into three or four categories based on difficulty/likelyhood of being detected. For instance, honk horn might be considered level 1 while kill a hunter being level 3 (of 3). The huntmaster gives 2 tasks before the hunter cooldown expires. One would be explode x number of priusses. The second would be one of the harder tasks (like kill a hunter). First ten minutes tasks that are easy to get away with, but more difficult tasks added to the possible ones every ten minutes.

i mentioned on the hunt video, an idea for tasks in the future would be to have a bingo card of sorts. you know what you need to do, and can plan accordingly. also allows for random spontaneous encounters like shooting laddo to count.

While I love when we have the unique Hunts it would be cool to see more hunts like the Taskmaster and Hunts like the originals. Maybe there could be a raffle to determine which one. Just a cool idea but either way its always a great watch

ALEX: Something to try is have one hunter know your general area but not allowed to tell the others and he also has to keep anyone but himself from catching you

Love this series. Happily watch them again and again. Is two a month pushing the boat out!? Standard play on the 1st of each month and a special (of sorts) in between? Glad you brought the challenges back in. Fingers crossed for a Christmas special. We've been ever-so-good this year! Honestly!!

This is my first time tuning in for a discussion and it's hilarious to finally hear the hunters banter.

I just love all the provincial dialects from the hunters, and then the one flat american voice. This was a great new survive the hunt format. Please do more!

if you ever get the "kill a hunter" task again, just sticky bomb them and run away, easy 😂

Killing a hunter safely is already pretty difficult so I don't think the hunters should be made aware of when you are given that particular task. At the same time though, you probably could have thought your plan through a lot more 😂 The wide open road with no cover was an interesting choice!

The reason you didn’t get a wanted level for blowing up the trees is because the game gives you one or two free crimes before sending the cops after you. Imagine how annoying it would be if you had to lose the cops every time you stole a car or spun out into an unlucky pedestrian.

Things to make a checklist for: change clothes more often (when changing vehicles), buy a motorcycle helmet

Yeah standing in the middle of the road and not trying to get away after the failed kill, not going to higher/protected ground, not trying to draw them in or cover your flanks, didn't work out so well.

That one guy that said "the communication is terrible" he's absolutely spot on - having watched these for over a year now i've come to this conclusion: They wouldn't last 5 minutes in Eve-online, the communication between players on that game is so good its scary. They'd have found ca5ino in no time at all.

A recommendation if you guys do this format again, which apparently many of us really hope you will... Next time set up different "groups" of events that are organized by something. Maybe "the visit place" group or "the do a certain thing in their car" group, with 5-6 different tasks per group. The hunters get to know the groups and whats in them, but only get told which group your current task is from. An alternative grouping strategy would to have a group consisting of a series of innocent things to utterly hostile to the hunters things. Again, they'd get told the group, but not what the specific task is. So, they know you had to do anything from cross 3 streets on foot, or you might have to sticky bomb a hunter, or anything in between from whatever group. But no way of knowing whether they needed to be cautious of you or nor.

Do a hunt where one of the hunters are helping you but the other hunters don't know Which one is helping you

To remind yourself to change your clothes when the opportunity presents itself, place a post-it reminder note somewhere on your desk that you can see whilst playing the game ;-)

Alex you have to get Segoya to play survive the hunt where he's driving and you're the passenger you got to get him to play honestly how well he does because he's a good driver and I think might he might beat the system and get you to safety.

You should consider having one of the hunters as a double agent. Maybe they have to deliver something to you? This would mean that someone on the other team could potentially out you and your location.

Really enjoyed it, maybe for directions the hunters should use a map with grid/postcodes like the roleplay guys use? Or would that make it too easy for them?
