driving a futo was not my finest decision, but I only spun out about 500 times!

one of the things i’m noticing with running to the hills in these is that while it seems like a good idea it almost always kills alex.

46:30 seeing the back of the same white and red car that initially spotted him, was like seeing the tail of the Xenomorph

So I guess what we have here is… The swimcident.

At 27:10 a car jumps off the dirt ramp up onto the main road while the Alex reads the camoman task out……

You can tell that Dangerman was pulling them randomly because the first one wasn't 'Get into a fuel tanker'

What a great way to start the year. I really enjoyed the STH live stream.

Whenever Alex is on foot you know it's over 😆. The AI are definitely behaving (more) oddly since the last update, it's not just the snow

the "only left turns" one should be based on number of intersections rather than amount of time, like for example "only make left turns in the next six intersections" or whatever (that way you also have to go around in a circle which makes the task even more challenging, or likely to be spotted rather)... also, all the timed tasks are way way WAY too short! half a minute or even a minute is absolutely nothing in this game mode; it's a blink of an eye and it's done.

Did really well right up until you got scared to step out from behind the house, Problem is there's not much pedestrian traffic in the hills so you need to move from house to house quickly or get in a car. it almost would have been better to go back to you car because at least it had speed and bullet proof tires.

When you got the snowball one, I was about yelling "go to the beach"... so many people walking in an area cars don't go. As for going to the hills, well... you learned something. If you want to dump a car you need to make sure you get far enough away from it for it to despawn... like jumping out and letting it roll down the hill or something. Once you were committed in that area on foot, you were already done.

Its funny when Alex goes all quiet when he's trying to be stealth and a hunter drives by

My phone ran out of signal at the start. Also with the present, Santa uses Amazon OK. That's why it was going to, not from the airport. I tried my best OK, it's hard.

You can be honest now Alex: the "no awd cars" rule for the hunters was really only instated so Laddo couldn't drive his beloved Stratum/Red Leader ;)

I like this taskmaster series - you're finally given a good challenge this time. The past few traditional STH's have been just a bit _too_ comfortably won as skill was improved (although the hunter organization seems to have vastly improved too!). I think now, the challenge and intensity are brought back to those initial levels. Can't wait for that first taskmaster win, I bet it will be as satisfying and wild as the first traditional STH win was!

STH: Team mode Two leaders trying to survive being hunted by the other team.

Here's an idea to modify the difficulty of the hunt as needed: benefits given for prii's blown up. Like, Alex blows up a prii and gets 1 use of a prox mine, with the caveat that any hunters blown up by it do not get removed from play. Or a hunter of Alex's choosing could interfere with the hunt for a short time through chaos, subterfuge, etc. Could add penalties too. For example, Alex can leave the city to escape without blowing up any prii's, but the penalty is that he must leave the city with a car he carjacked from a hunter. lol not likely he'd try that last one in particular, but the idea is an easy framework for adjusting the difficulty as needed, or just simply to spice things up. It's rather like taskmaster in that way, only with a bit more control in Alex's hands.

I do always love the task hunts versions of STH. I’d love to see it implemented more often

I love this series. Should be a task like shoot down the blimp or drive around in an emperor for xx mins.

Such a great show. The tasks should have a difficulty score. If Alex doesn't manage the fifteen tasks we could add up his 'points' for this run and compare it with previous runs. Once Alex manages to do 15 tasks they could then make 'easier' tasks rarer to increase the challenge.

Excellent way to start a new year. The random task format is a fun change up. Many laughs.

I really love the taskmaster version, more of these! The tasks get you into so many weird and nerve-wracking scenarios!

Man thank you so much for making the newyears one a task master. When you said in the Livestream "there will still be a survive the hunt on the first" I was filled with hope it'd be a taskmaster. 😲☺️

It would be interesting if there were two lists. S list of normal tasks to be completed at next convenience, and a separate list of immediate completion tasks on a 5 or 10 minute clock. This way even the normal challenges can be messed up. Regardless, this was a great start to the year. Looking forward to the races, rolls, Nd hints of 2022.

I'm surprised that none of the hunters seem to have picked up on the 'impromptu race' notification after all this time, the biggest giveaway if they don't see another car bombing it along the road that they have just passed by their prey.

First time watching a failrace video in over 18 months, guy still doesn’t know map… and it’s not even the entire map. Will revisit with interest in 2024. Happy new year, wishing everyone a better one.

Game sound seems to be really quiet

I really enjoy this format, and AI being derpy as hell only made it better to watch. Not sure how much of a distraction it was for the hunters though, and if it helped Alex in any way, but at least I got a few laughs. Happy new year everyone!

Idea: taskmaster where the taskmaster has to be kept alive in your car similar to a hostage, and perhaps they are a hunter who wants you caught but can only do it by giving tasks

The monthly Survive The Hunt is literally the only reason I switch on the internet.

A wonderful winter Hunt. It's going to be another great year for Survive the Hunts and this channel in general.

I feel walking on foot isn't utilised as often as it should be, also, changing cars more often isn't either, because driving a white Comet across the map, passing through different areas, seems unwise.

I have become a survive the hunt addict. These are great. I am setting aside time to watch the over 5 hour long livestream one. Shouldn't be hard. Got omicron and stuck inside. I find this better then Netflix.

I was listening this at work. I sat down for a min an got to watch u sneak that present car along the beach, around the docks, and into the airport. That was epic, nice.

For the love of God, put a scope on your combat MG! It may look dumb, but your character will hold the gun to his shoulder like an AR, making it much more accurate when firing, which will make it easier to defend yourself with it

Great episode, tough call to either camp behind the house or try to boldly stroll away. Likewise having to choose between swimming in a pool or swimming in the sea in a risky escape attempt. Sod’s law you were found sneaking around the rail yard by a Hunter as well.. I’d have gambled hiding behind the bridge support on the other side of the storm drain. Also very lucky not to get spotted entering or leaving the customs too, the Sultan served you very well though.

I first didn't appreciate the taskmaster idea, but now it has grown on me a lot. Wonderful start for the new year. Might I suggest a few minor changes to the rules set: 1. Change the tasks into three different sets of difficulties: easy, medium, hard. 2. Draw up to 10 from the easy (minimum 7), up to 7 from medium (minimum 5), and up to 5 ( minimum 3) from the hard difficulty settings. Yes, the total for the maximum is greater than 15 tasks. 3. After two from the same difficulty the next one has to be from a different difficulty. If the next randomly chosen one is again the same difficulty as the previous two, continue drawing randomly until another difficulty level is drawn. With that Alex won't have the problem of facing the impossibility of many ultra-difficult tasks one after the other but he will also face the challenge of having to complete at least a certain number of difficult tasks during each STH:TM instead of getting through on a lucky breeze all of the game. But those are just suggestions.

Fun episode! I hope you'll take another crack at this before we have to wait for the next Winter.

everything was epic, but the last comment before you died was "I dunno where I'm getting shot from"... ALEX, PLEASE LEARN TO READ RED BLOOD INDICATORS that show where you were shot from! Last moment was PAINFUL to watch, you're getting shot at and run with your BACK turned to the hunter shooting you! I can totally see that moment as a win if you just shot back. But oh well) The format if taskmaster is quite refreshing, please keep up at it!

You should be in a private discord with the Task Master talking throughout. It would help your viewers get to know the other's voices(and/or promo their channels if they run a youtube as well), but it would just work out for if there were questions ala "Does this count?" like they're also a judge. It would also be in line with GTA quests, the way you get phone calls or voice-overs in missions.

When you go to switch up to your firstcar, break as many windows as possible on allcars nearby.
