@@PovertyDeadlifter Penn only really wanted the "BarStool Sports book" which they kept and wasn't part of the buy back. Dave can never start another sports book under the BarStool banner. along with the $1 deal if Dave ever decided to sell again 50% of sale price goes to Penn, he also had to sign other non competes which aren't really clear yet...... They basically gutted the company and gave him back the circus that he enjoys running...

Agreed. He recently said doing that doing the Dave Portnoy Show w/Eddie was boring, but I actually enjoyed that over pretty much every other Barstool show because we'd get to learn more about Dave and the others in the office. Bringing some of the employees on camera and interrogating them on incidents was hilarious.
@JasonReed I like Eddie but he wasn't a good match with Dave as host. They had no chemistry to bounce off of each other. That's why the show got stale for Dave and the viewers.

I feel like I should preface this with- I’m a woman. I’m really happy Dave bought it back. I really appreciate the brutal honesty as a fellow Masshole. When I saw the guy get fired for singing the n word, I was really disappointed with Barstools. I hope Dave hires him back.
Barstool should open a sports mecca in Vegas @Prez. Hotel/casino, sports complex, go nuts. There will likely continue to be a lot of championship games being held there and that Sphere is a game changer. You guys might already have presence but go big why not baby!
