Awesome conversation fellas. I absolutely agree that some 2.0 cards are much more rare than people give them credit for. At least, that's what the insider scoop tells me. Collectability for Flesh and Blood is there, its just not as volatile or "exciting" as it was during the COVID times. I agree with Saint where the macroeconomic scale of the US is putting a huge hinderance on pricing for high end cards. However, this is the time to get in if you really love the game. Cheers
The value of most wanted rainbow foil majestics has been eaten by even more rare cold foil version and marvels. Yes, there isn't such version of every card yet but for example Enlightened Strike will probably be published as cold foil or marvel or both. Could argue it's a different card and CF doesn't belong to alpha but the issue is there isn't yet collector pool that really consider card iconic or nostalgic and for play usage cold foil/marvel is superior. Some areas do well but RFs has been struck hard and there is a clear issue what to think about these cards for a new collector. Maybe after 5-20 years and five reprints collectors start to want original over any pimped version. I haven't yet seen pure collector in FaB but most players do seem to collect a bit and buy marvel heroes and such. Gameplay wise FaB has gotten better. Meta is great etc. I think game becoming even more complex that fast while ELE was a bit difficult time but it has been stabile now.
