Basically they code it those way to have faster server response. They probably pre-seed them and cache once per minute or something like this, so server can just return unit instead of generating random one esp for 3 star.

I summoned Abyssal Yufine (NEW) from this event. I'm content with my luck.

This is really nothing new though. The exact same thing happened to me and a friend a very long time ago when they gave away random 5 star tickets.

That's true. There was something that needed fixing because it didn't work as intended, but as we know it didn't change the results. It was all luck. I saw people getting multiples ml5, and today I got a LQC (new), which I'm having fun playing with.

I was able to get ML Ludwig and ML Bellona.. so I am pretty happy. Pretty crazy about the seeds...

I haven't received a single 5* character (unless it's guaranteed in any way) for about two years and I'm skeptical about the opinion of someone who has all the characters.

My luck on the ml pulls was absolutely abysmal, however, while i didn't get any luck on those, the 2 galaxy bms i did have gave me a bbk and spirit eye celine so like, fair trade?

People that go like "yea but if you pulled a 5* in a certain seed, that 5* would be predetermined" need to really think about what they are saying. First of all, the chance to pull a 5* on ML is like what, 2,5%? So sure I guess, if you landed in a certain seed and you got lucky, you would pull a certain 5*. Fair enough. However, where is the evidence that 1. you can manipulate the seed you get and 2. you would have pulled a 5* you wanted or didn't have otherwise. Does it matter? If you got a 5* you got a 5*. Dunno man, a lot of people didnt have that luck. And really...if you would try to manipulate the system like this somehow, again, you would still be looking at a like 2% to get a ml5 from this, so there is really no way to benefit from this in any way. Besides, this is still FREE pulls. Sure, might suck you get certain strings of heroes, but it is not like you need to pay for it. Neither Skystones nor real money. They are 100% free and there is no way to spend on this, other than what they said about being able to catch up if you didnt make it in time, but I wouldnt really count that here. Also that person complaining the 60 Galaxy Bookmarks we get this weeek didnt give him jack...why do you spend like 2k skytones on this, if you literally just need to play the game for like 30min tops to get all rewards in the end anyway. That shit boggles my mind.

The issue here is trust. I think those defending e7 is missing the point here, e7 knows they messed up and that's why they're giving us ML summons. Everyone knows devs have the ability to affect summons, but it's another thing to admit it. Now you're saying you affected only 3 stars, what's to say you didn't in times devs didn't get caught? Just as, everyone can steal, but what's to say the only time you stole was the time you were caught? And is stealing $1 any different than stealing $100? No trust.

People are confusing whether or not the player can influence it, but that is unimportant because you can still reliably obtain a particular unit at a particular time. Consider it this way: even though everyone bets on horse races, the outcome is always going to be one of four, purely due to time. The problem lies in your assertion that the game isn't rigged simply because players aren't able to select all four options. Since there are four results at that precise moment, it is rigged. I understand the misunderstanding among those who mistakenly think that the unit grade was altered but the problem still exists even if that is not present. I say all of that to say, sure, this can be manipulated, but not to the extent that most individual players would profit-only a group of players might. Another way to look at it is this: players can take advantage of the slower seed refresh rate more easily. The nuance point is this is a standard and acceptable practice and the only new thing is the speed of recycle and player awareness. That doesn't change the point it is still rigged. This is still a systematic change in results over time which is not advertised and a grey area. Why is that ? because it shifts the odds of specific units - I now have pockets where specific units is no longer possible.

I wasn't really concerned about the seeding stuff but I will say I'm surprised how generous the compensation was. I imagine it will boost community morale by a good bit, at least my guildies seem to think so. I'm still horribly unlucky though ;P

okay, I think that's what I read the conclusion was. You might get the same 3stars but the chance of getting something better is still the noted low but possible percent. The side-by-side phones showed that perfectly. I didn't even care if the minor flaw was fixed much less compensation be given. I hadn't heard of the 50 summon bonus though. That's Great!! I'll take it.

why did none of you content creators come out and explain the situation while this was exploding on Reddit and only after the Stove post from SG? I’m am sure you all were aware of the situation and were talking about this, you could have helped to clear up the situation like you do in this video. It might have not escalated like this when some of you had eased the concerns of a lot of players. Feels like it was an intentional silence from every cc. I’m glad you did this video tho, it made me feel good again about this event❤

Can some people just stop forcing themselves to be mad about stuff that doesn't matter or affect them in any negative way just because they're jealous of other people or bored because they don't have anything else to do? Like seriously, can those people stop defaulting to spamming CN stuff cause it does not affect you. If the game didn't exist in the first place then would those people be getting mad at their next door neighbors toaster when it didn't make them coffee? Enjoy the game you're putting time into. If it isn't fun, leave. Don't make it worse for the people who have the mental maturity to recognize that mistakes happen and can forgive people who clearly care enough to fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again, and move on so they can get back to farming wyvern in the hopes of getting a 20 spd piece of gear.

I am enjoying the Moonlight Summons. I gained Camilla twice, Aria, Watcher Schuri, Angel of Light Angelica, and Celestial Mercedes.

I would love to know what is the seeded ML5 for me IF I WOULD EVER PULL A 5*. Fucking 0/40 gang where you at. You called me out last time tristed not being satisfied by Anniversary. They prolly didn't wanna own up to it and issue out another 50 pulls.. so i'm at least glad they did that, but it did seem weird and well 'rigged'. U can say its just based on luck, but when prolly hundreds of ppl getting the same 5 spread of units w/ an occasional 'upgrade' to ML Clarissa or ML Lots, still doesnt feel liek an upgrade y'know? I've gotten an LPK but i'm kinda surprised I havent seen any Light Cidds through any of my 3 accounts. but yknow.. again, at least they've addressed it and made it right - cause it is like u said, just a cosmetic change. U can still play the game just fine, and altho ur overall RTA 'enjoyment' might be affected due to not getting any of the META ML's.. u can still enjoy Epic Seven and the pulls were free to begin with.. im still pretty satisfied with SG.. just waiting on some of the new units!

A bit salty for not getting ml selection as the hole bingo-lotto-poker side of things feels like waste of time (yes I'm one of those who get not tickled when the dice is rolling.. xD). Even with 150 moonlight summons the chances to get anything are low considering that most of us have done more than that by now on that 20 banner before and after it got revamped to having pity-ish system. I mean "its not rigged" only if you're assuming that we're looking for 5* or 4* characters (which most people are) but the 3* were 100% scripted. So then if for example i expected to get pernila or penelope well my 5 summons streak was *hardlocked* to *not* give me them if i was in the "wrong" seed...

They were not rigged. People are misunderstanding how this works. 1:57 notice how he gets the same unit when he pushes summon at the same exact time, but when he's off by a half second he gets different units. Thats because the server rolls RNG based on current time. It isn't rigged, its just how RNG works in computers.

Yeah, both my bro and friend got ml luluca in their first 5 summons, it was weird , but personally didn't get not even 1 ml5... , man , why my luck is trash, also needed to pity last 3 ml summons...

It's never been guaranteed in the first place it's random selection

Rigged or not the odds have definetely been tempered with, that much is clear. Its not JUST WEIRD, smilegate tempered with the odds. There is no way for a player to take advantage of this but smilegate sure as hell can. This is a case of "house always wins" at its finest

I always thought my luck was back loaded. I was always meant to get the ML5 on my 98th summon, very close to pity just like it always does.

They have to be intentionally rigged imagine to q certain extent especially the 27th one because 100 ML summon amd most people not ending up witn a single ML5 is not a good look to new players and and potential new whales

i summon in 3 servers (asia, korea, europe) and i got bad cat armin between 11-15th pull, all of them at the same hour global server got luck seed,, got a straze instead of ml armin

It's not rigged... except it's literally rigged based on whatever seed you're in. What's the freaking point if all 5 pulls are predetermined based on your seed every day, barring you get a random upgrade? I get that it's really hard to do true random, but this was really poorly executed. Each pull should've been its own query, generating a new response each time, and it sure as hell shouldn't be determined by whatever the seed is. That just means that there was/is a way to exploit their gacha system.

Programming RNG is super easy (see below). But... true randomness is not good for a gotcha game. RNG needs to be controlled so that someone won't get advantage due to luck. *RNG generators in programming languages use time, some other input data and complex math formulas to generate unique and semi-random numbers.

In other words, I'm just way too damn unlucky that it makes me suspicious.

my acc on e7 really hav higher drop rate than other games that I play.. so I don't really mind.. but to me, this is already crazy generous. I think you can't make 100 pull without at least 1 ML5. it just you might got dupe at worst.

I got my first ML5 of the event today and when I heard about the whole scandal I was so sure they were gonna rollback the servers on me and I was gonna end the event with absolutely nothing They can mess this up as many times as they want as long as I get more pulls

The real crime is if you roll an ml5 you got from the choose your ML5 event last year, you don't get coins.

So, statistically speaking out of the 150 summs we should get at least 5 ( including the guaranteed, since 2.5 out of 100 is 3.75 out of 150). tis is a shame i have gotten a single one yet

Nah accounts are seeded on this event. When do you see such high 5 star rate on galaxy summons. ML summons were always a meme but now people are reporting them getting 5 ml 5s during last week. Unless these guys are trolling the situation doesn’t add up. Also if the rates worked as intended the compensation seems way too generous.

From the pulls I got a dupe of handguy and finally light achates and a bunch of dupes of 4*, I just pull 20, so I have another 80 plus another 50 with the update I'm okay with it, but I'm mean we know that every player is segmented in different categories for the seeds, so sometimes new players get a lot of good things and some current players don't get shit and some that had expend a lot of money, get different treatment (if you said that they don't do it, bc is illegal you're just naive) but meh I play casually, so I don't really care, if I get meta units, I don't like play pvp, bc all the toxicity that come with it

So at first I was getting at least 1 purple sparkles a day which I have to say was pretty cool (sadly nothing new but it’s a rank up at least) then I think it was yesterday or the day before (today is Monday the 9th of September for me) it was all blue’s not nearly as cool but it’s still free stuff and if you haven’t been playing for 3 years like me it may be completely new stuff. Now is it rigged? Data data data, it’s not been long enough for me to say if it’s just RNG/luck or if they are lowering the chances but from a F2P perspective of doing a ML pull a week to every Fortnite the number of purples actually seems to be slightly higher than if I was doing it the normal way, now granted it’s my own personal experience so I’ve got an extremely low level of data to use.

i think i got a few 4 stars (4 or 5) and ml charles (new) didnt care much what i got, since im just playing e7 on and off casually

a kind of pseudo rng on gacha isn't new or unique for epic seven. gacha in itself needs to have some ups and downs, otherwise, getting a 1% hit on a strong unit could actually take alot more than 100 draws to be met. as such, many gacha apply some factors to players drawing units so they sometimes pull better, sometimes pulling worse. unless someone confirmed receiving ML5 non-stop, this is just an underhanded method, but not a surprising one.

I got a five star ML5 the third time pull in total I got two five Stars and several of four Stars two Golden stars five Stars

Still not cool that they add another RNG REWARD. Some PPL allready got 5 Ml5s while other just get green Transmitstones. And this is not okay at all. While one newer player ist RTA rdy right away another one missing crucial Ml5s. Couldnt they just give out 3 Random Ml5s guaranteed for everyone or something like this. I easily see people getting 10 Ml5s and other none. I see many people getting frustrated. Why couldnt they make some other rewards RNG, why it has to be the most important reward. And ML5s these days are so strong.

That's not the only issue, we were promised 100 pulls if it's seeded for 5 pull sets, then we really just get 20 pulls and its a trust issue, if they rigged X did they also rigged Y
