I just was watching that Raven/Rhyno match from Backlash 01 a few days ago. The gore into the shopping kart was crazy, I’m sure he was scraped but he could have knocked himself loopy going through the lifting part of the kart, then possibly again if he hit the front of the kart into the buckle. Crazy spot!

Not the subject of the video, but it doesn't get said enough. Stevie's performance as Steven Richards, Head of the Right-to-Censor, was so outstanding. By far, my favorite version of him. He displayed incredible charisma in that role while playing this character who despised charismatic things. I know the RTC was originally created to mock the Parents Television Council, but WWE should have continued the RTC story even after WWE-PTC settlement and evolved it beyond its original inspiration. Even after the rest of the group inevitably turned on SR & returned to their former lives, that character still had so much more potential to explore & expand upon, largely due to Richards' awesome portayal.

When I was an idiot teenager doing backyard wrestling, I got hit with some of these and I specifically remember a cookie sheet to the head hurting like hell. Taking a bump on a ladder also sucks really bad. Taking a light tube across the back doesn't that hurt much, but there's also the potential for something to terribly wrong with that. One guy took a headshot with an ironing board that pretty much wrapped around his head and that looked like it hurt a lot.

Cookie sheets suck if you use the regular ones but what I used to do was buy sure sure thing sheets or just use a turkey pan and cut it

I was reading a book about The Sheik, who used to throw fire a lot, and they'd fake "burns" on his opponents by a little scrubbing with sandpaper... but I imagine it could legit leave a bit of a mark if it hit right.

Hockey stick... Having lived most of my life in Detroit I still remember when Wilf Paiement broke Dennis Polonich's nose with a two handed swing with a hockey stick. Of course, that stick wasn't gimmicked, and was swung with full malice. Polonich was 5'6", Paiement was 6'1".

I have been really enjoying these podcasts. I have to admit at first I thought Stevie was bit of a self righteous holier than tho type of person from pervious shoot interviews i seen. A friend pointed out it wasn't Stevie i saw by Gregory Helms. I feel like an idiot. Steve seems like a stand up person who just wants to share his knowledge on the wrestling business. You can tell hes having a blast doing so.

As an idiot 16-17 year old, the worst weapon I took was a steel chair from my friend to the top of the dome. I was kneeling and he was standing. Dude WAILED me and I felt a cold electric shock chill go down my spine from top to bottom! 2nd worst was a super power bomb off a car through a piece of plywood that we called a "table". My opponent put his ass through the table and my head bounced off the hard ground (Earth).

HHH's sledgehammer always looks crappy. Of course he can't swing it, so he uses it as a ram. That is like bringing a machinegun, to hit someone with the buttstock. it is just stupid. He can't really do anything with it. Btw: the "steel" ring steps are also made from Stevies favourite metal aluminium. There seem to be reinforcments crosswelded in, so they are sturdy, and probably heavy, but it is not steel.
