There's 2 sides to every story: and the other side is this: arleast 100 foreign trained doctors and local doctors were due to get placed now in July but most were not. Why are these doctors who have worked equally as hard been discriminated against. They also deserve the chance to give back, earn a living and follow their dreams but because of being self funded, as opposed to government funded, they seem to be less than.
You should ask the minister, why 100's of south africans who studied abroad and have passed the SA medical board exams, have yet to placed this 2022 Mid-cycle. Some of us are unemployed for upto a year. And yet there's no media coverage or anyone advocating on our behalf. Are we not capable, qualified South Africans? Do we not deserve the right to serve our country and be treated equally?. Do better NDOH
Last month the same department was citing Medicine as a skill that is short. Yet 1000 graduated last year+ locally graduated + 600 graduating. We are bu..llshitted daily by these people.
