Discussion on stammering research, from the BBC Stammering Support Network 

Thank you for posting this. I am a person who stutters and loves learning everything i can about stuttering. It's a fascinating subject with not a whole lot of research being done. What you all are doing is so important to the stuttering community. I'm 46 so when I had speech therapy as a kid it wasn't very effective. Probably caused more harm than good. I became an expert covert stutterer which led to a lifetime of anxiety. It's only been over the past year that I've learned to accept my stutter and not be as covert.
