I do notice the 2D sequences got a bit of a downgrade, going from high levels of theatrical quality to a lower budget no different than the later direct dvd Disney sequels. Not bad, but you can tell it was content filler in producing fast content for Disney plus 😑😑😑
Note that the studio that worked on the 2D sequences of this film, Tonic DNA, has worked on films that are released in theaters. There's two that I know. "Space Jam: A New Legacy", and "The Bob's Burgers Movie". But yes, I might think the animation got a bit of a downgrade, but it would be more like comparing the 2D visuals of "The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea" to it's 1989 predecessor. Here's a clip of "Space Jam: A New Legacy" to show you what I mean. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uM6-XpaaCRk.html&pp=ygUcc3BhY2UgamFtIGEgbmV3IGxlZ2FjeSBjbGlwcw%3D%3D
