Mejbri showed the whole midfield and front line up when he came on. Suddenly there was a player closing down fast, looking for the ball, speeding up play and trying to make things happen. Hojlund was the only other player doing that and he was pulled off. Probably because his energy was showing Rashford up.

There is a poison it starts with the glazers. They didn't resign Rushford because of his 30 goals. They signed him cuz he's a academy player with amazing jersey sales. He can be good when he scores but his mentality is not right for the way ten hag wants to play any manager can come in and say "I Wanna play this way." Rashford is comfortable at United he's been there since youth he doesn't need to adapt to the way ten hag plays cuz he knows at the end of the day he will stay so he doesn't work to improve. This is the same issue with Sancho but Sancho isn't from our academy and he doesn't sell jerseys so ten hag can keep him from the team but Rashford I'm sure the board and glazers said no.

Anyone could see that Casemiro was out of it last season already and we didn't really replace him. Mount was an unnecessary buy, because we have kids to embed in the team in that position. Onana is not a shot stopper, we let go of a shotstopper and bought a distributor, and we are not playing the way he plays. What was that all about?

Ten Hag's selections and subs are ridiculous. Blame the Glazers, Murtough and Arnold but they aren't the ones selecting who plays on the pitch. Rashford refuses to pass and costs us two goals because of it. Onana should have saved two of those goals; so much for his amazing talent. Too few were trying to do to much and too many were doing too little. Hojlund found out today this United team he grew up admiring is not this one. Ten Hag, Rashford and Onana lost this match today.

All of Brighton goals looked like counter attacks but none of them came from turnovers. Easy bypass of the attack and midfield and nobody could really be bothered to run back. Of course we'll concede goals that way and we can't pick runners. When man city/Brighton/Arsenal loose the ball, their wingers play full back positions. It's essential to be narrow and compact if you don't have the ball but we never do that. To compound that problem, we don't keep the ball well either. It's shameful. I like Ten Hag but I thought Rashford should have been taken off instead of Rasmus. Man city last season on the ball had the most space between their players to stretch the opposition and off the ball had the least space between their players to make it hard to break down. You can't defend when there's big space between your players, you'll get run through like you aren't even there.

I genuinely believed United could have made it to the level of Man City, Liverpool etc etc but I've finally come to realise we are frauds, and not like I was never in doubt about that, it's just I thought we could fight through that but this game showed me it will forever be the same. Doesn't matter what the club does. As long as the Glazers are in charge, we will forever be in this position. It is highly likely we won't see a proud worthy moment from the club within the next 25+ years

Only Fernandes was a decent buy of his, the rest were an abomination. The difference is in the attitude and discipline of the players. Brighton has a good management above the manager, good scouting, players ready to change themselves and play for whichever manager they appoint. United has a bad management team above the manager, bad scouting, lazy players with lifelong history of dropping their heads down and downing tools, not ready to improve themselves in terms of footballing ability. PR dramas, Ridiculous wages, Player Power over Manager's decisions. Have you seen any Player power, PR dramas or anyone earning wages more than 100k per week in Brighton? Too many Imposters at United on ridiculous wages with English media ready to provide them cozy supreme protection. These Immature players will never step out of their comfort zone.

Unpopular opinion, it’s all about coaching and having a game style irrespective of the players. Brighton lost their stars but their game style is still the same. Welbeck and Lallana were rejects, but they look so good on that team. ETH needs to make these players play his game style. Rashfords ball retention is abysmal, same to many players on that team.

Unfortunately have to concede to the fact that United just isn’t a ‘Big’ club anymore. The only thing that’s big in that club is the egos that a lot of the players have. I can agree that the Glazers and higher management can be blamed but when should the blame start to be put squarely on the players shoulders? They are making a farce out of this once great club. They have that much power that they can openly criticize the club and basically get away with it. I love this club but I’d be lying if I said some of my depression hasn’t resulted in how far United has dropped.

For me, our two wingers should be Garnacho and Pellistri, fast, put crosses in and play like actual wingers. Hoijland up front and interchange with Rashford being the sub.
