Wow! You proper grafted there. I did our drains with my bare hands when we first moved in. I was gagging. Still haven't sorted it properly but it was filled with polystyrene balls and gunk. The seating area will look so nice, looking forward to seeing that come together x

Try a cover over the drain to stop any leaves or other things from blocking it. We get moss down ours which the birds throw down off the roof. Love your vlogs. 😊

Jensen is a big helper to you….so sweet. Love the hydrangea Nick bought you. I bet that drain did stink. I’ve done plenty of bad smelling jobs in my life too. You got to do what cha ya got to do sometimes. I hope you were able to rescue your rug you cleaned on the trampoline a while back. Your back yard is coming along nicely. I know what ya mean. You clean something and before you can turn around there it is again to do. But, we ain’t whipped til we quit. You my friend are the energizer bunny.

Cats and their little presents eh 😂 One of mine kept leaving dead mice on the front doormat of all places when he was younger, absolute grossness. The seating area, I have those sandy paving slabs on mine but I used the old grey ones as a rectangle in the centre and just edged it with the sandy ones. Saved money and looks nice. Your drain Gabz is like one of mine and as an extra precaution (in case leaves blow into it and reams of roof moss fall down into it) - I made a small wooden frame and attached plastic chicken fence to it as a kind of extra rubbish catcher - to lay over the entire drain entry. Used to get proper bunged up with stuff before that!
