That was my thought. It is sad how many things get thrown out. I can see things with soft surfaces but not sure why the furniture needs to be tossed as well.

​@@nikkisowell3263nobody wants it, we have a charity near us that collect furniture from houses like this and give it to people who need it by referral from housing teams etc, they collected my grandma's stuff once and said they can't take old stuff as people don't want it - even when it's free!!!!

I've seen quite a few biohazard cleaner doco/reality TV shows about the companies who work in the US. I've seen them in Florida and NY, and I could imagine business is good in Texas with increasing gun violence and suicide rates. I actually found the saddest part was the disregard by the police and detectives once they cleared the scene. They just leave gloves and rubbish everywhere, they don't give af, which makes it even worse for the families and friends of the deceased, especially if they're struggling to afford a proper cleanup 😞 I think if you could stomach the smell (that would be the issue for me), it would be a really rewarding job. And it's not just the immediate families etc, who benefit; in one of the cases, a person had died upstairs in a NY appointment in summer, and their bodily fluids were leaking through the ceiling and dropping onto the pedestal fan in the apartment below!!!! Unsurprisingly, the landlord wasn't doing shit 🙄 So the biohazard cleaners helped two families ❤🥰 It's a shit job, but someone has to do it for the betterment of our community (and the decent money!).

Plus, with the lack of public services in the US, people really rely on these private clean-up companies. If I had the resources, and didn't need heaps of money, I'd like to run a biohazard clean-up service for cheaper rates so those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds don't have to go broke cleaning up the mess of deceased loved one 😞

They do, just the smack heads are to lazy or paranoid to either collect it from a pharmacy and/or carry it around with them

the problem with that they probably work and having a bday party on the weekend just wouldn't be there bday lol
