not sure if that is a convincing reason, I´ve got a Mild Hybrid Kia Rio, with regenerative brakes, and it is equipped with disk type brakes on the rear wheels
I almost bought 2 sets of brake discs for my vw polo. I realised that there wasn't a caliper on the rear brakes and got confused. I have no idea how to change drum brakes 😑
Disk brakes are the best breaking system and I didn't know that they still make drum brakes; why go back to something inferior? And mixing disk brakes with drum brakes on a vehicle is pathetic!
I thought discs have better stopping power, are easier to fit when pads need replacing? How come not all electric cars have them, probably because VW thought they cost less.Be interesting to know what the difference is between disc and drum brakes to fit at factory?
