I love how captivating that fight was, and what was also impressive is the fact that your medicine pouch is not even a third full, ultra hard, no armour suit, level 27 and you used the 1000 sword cut technique from japanese culture by slowly weakening your opponent with many injuries that are not necessarily damaging when judged by each cut but as a whole truly damaging. This fight was a master class considering you knew how to counter each technique he threw at you and how you aimed truly especially at his shoulders.
Yeah I tend to spam arrows bu tthen wit hmy disability I can' t dodge and aim at the same time. It was well done though as those fire claws are not easy to fight. Lost a lot of health fighting them myself when I was playing this game for the first time last month on PC. I had a lot of fun playing this game on PC when it came and I have to say it's my game of the year in 2020.
You're absolutely right Abdo! I've spent most of the game trying to fight with a semblance of style, rather than running around like a crazy person, firing wildly, and mostly missing! But I'm afraid I'll have finished the game before I look anything like Grease....

Mate, I was getting stressed watching and you were clearly winning! I've learned a few techniques thanks to you sir, I plan to use them to my advantage if I ever get the DLC. I doubt I will though haha terrific video!
Man i miss playing this game. Fireclaws are my favorite machines to fight too. I love that they have so many attack animations compared to other machines.

@@eobardthawne8471 🤣 No. Really, I love their aesthetic and the fact that it needs what are essentially war tactics to fight. Hide. Trap. Silent strike. Fight a bit. Get beaten around. Repeat. I also had one as a pet for a while. Bor was his name. Kept him where he was. Overrided him on every visit. He always went through that herd of Tramplers and pair of Scorchers like a champ🤣. Had to kill him for the quest. Gave his best performance. Killed my mount. Almost killed me. Sad 😥.
Heck, I'd take both of those at once over these fuckers. Heck, I'd take them over Scorchers too! I think it's because their AI is as aggressive as a killer Bee on steroids
Thunderjaws and stormbirds are easy Use the shadow rope caster/lodge rope caster to tie them down, freeze them then go to town Or use 10 tripcasters with three 47% damage coils to one-shot them Fireclaws don't tie down easily, they take 15 lodge rope caster ammo just to tie them down and 15 tripcasters only deal 1/5th of their health on hard
There are much better situational armors than shield weaver. Like Carja Blazon Master with fire modifications can make you almost immune to fire damage.
Honestly, how was the human's world survived when they fought this creature in the past, not include Thunderjaw and Stormbird, and Deathbringer too? What chance do they have? Man, that is hopeless when they had to fight them and don't know any weakness.
Simple. SPOILERS! The Deathbringer wiped out modern humanity along with the rest of the Swarm,which includes that giant thing you saw on All-Mother Mountain. They had to remake the world through another AI that shut all the others down and made new machines to help fix the world. That thing you see here in the video,for example,is five years old at most. It was born because twenty years ago,that AI died and it's subordinates went crazy and everything went to ###.
If you mod the best bow with 2 max damage (+50%) and 1 max draw speed you can dismantle an armor part in 10 secs with 3 fully drawn hardpoint tripleshots. Hardest part to dismantle for me are the sparkers on its back cause it's always facing you.
Show us your version sir ;) Perhaps then you will find out that in UH mode all weapons are greatly weakened and the Fireclaw will not give you time to load the Ice rail (the more damage is done to the Fireclaw, the faster and more actively it attacks). The only good alternative to this type of combat is the maximum possible stealth mode, in which it is more often possible to immobilize a demonic machine with an electric shock. Well, do not forget to readjust the sensitivity of the dualshock along the axes to the maximum :)
Man you made it look easy I just tried and failed over and over what I noticed is you draw and shoot quicker then me I'd like to know your stats if you don't mind and what bow your using and coils so overall just your stats lol 😊
using the adept shadow hunter bow. damage and tear are maxed out, handling is nearly maxed. i use a combination of the unique DLC mods ( you get duplicates if you replay the game) and some maxed out purple mods to achieve those stats.

I can barely survive these things on normal, and this fk is literally toying with one on ultra hard. Not even just killing it, but just messing around, stripping off components for kicks...

Today i killed my first frostclaw, Well its true i am killing bellowbacks fór blaze, but only a maniac or really good player will be killing fireclaws fór blaze . And All Claas have the strongest Components
You don't kill a Fireclaw for the Blaze. You kill it for shards,incredibly rare parts for buying weaponry,and most importantly, sheer arrogance. Gotta show those Banuk who's in charge!
this was amazing but I'm confused as to how they were gaining health without using the medicine pouch. maybe I missed it when I was playing but I don't remember being able to do that when I had more than 25% of my health
I'll just drop by 3 months later to say that I started this game yesterday on Very Hard (Haven't messed around with the Settings menu, so I'm using the difficulty's defaults), and no, health bars aren't hidden.
