@@VascoMaior i made the count, when you go into a story mission, a machine says to aloy "you come 350.000 days later to your meting" or something like that, that amont of days give me 958.000 years.
How cool would it be if they released a DLC where you go here and it leads to some huge ruins, like an underground city with some new quests there. Discovering a few new secrets.
@Void hold on I cant tell if you like botw and hate zero dawn or hate zero dawn and love botw. Either way botw is overrated. I mean it's a really good game but this is why I own a ps4
I played and loved both games and imo BOTW was a better all around game. Good thing I played horizon first because if I didn’t BOTW probably would’ve made me disinterested in horizon. Still a great game either way
I’ve read rumors that they plan to include more interest/rewards for “adventurers” in the sequel. Just chilling and wandering the outskirts is one of my favorite activities. Next on my list? Go spelunking! TY!
Totally agree with you, the world of Horizon is so beautiful, it deserves to be explored even outside the limits. I can't wait to see what they've prepared for us in the sequel. Cheers Daniel! Don't forget to get your warm socks. ✌🏻:D🏹☀️🧦
Hola Daniel! :) As you explore the world, you can find three special items(Death Stranding easter eggs): The Stranded Necklace(can be found in The Grave Hoard), the Stranded Figure(can be found in ELEUTHIA facility) and the Stranded Shackles(can be found at the Zero Dawn Alternate Entrance in Sunfall). These items can be traded with the mystery boxes Oseram merchant at Meridian, the warm socks are inside the mystery box. There's also a lone sock you can collect if you have The Frozen Wilds DLC, it can be obtained with the Banuk Nesting Box from Bluegleam merchants. I love "flying" with mounts to explore the world, I've found two more different ways to do it, apart from the one at Bright Market. Cheers!! :D
Diverdjent ahh! Thanks for that! I’m nearing the completion of my 3rd play through. Nice to have a reason to run around some more. This game really is a masterpiece, can’t wait for HZD2!
The Nora go through this cave at the beginning of the game, at the proving, while Aloy goes on another path. You can visit anytime :) I left you some warm socks in there if you need. Cheers Kelly! :D
It is very cool that they left the Proving Grounds in the game. I always wondered if they were accessible but thought probably not so I never bothered looking. These Horus units are such an impressive background. I want to see them in action now.
I originally thought the Proving Grounds were one of those things in games that really shouldn't be a thing where the player only had one run through of it before it was inaccessible altogether afterwards. Then I started doing some exploring and found my way back to it, after a good bit of platforming up rock faces and hills.
Unlikely tho. I mean they barely managed to take down Horus units back in farro, soebeck time, what chance do alloy have with the weapons she would have had?
@@dcheguDuring the Faro Plague it was different. There were multitudes of Chariot machines coming in droves. The people during that time struggled to bring down Deathbringers as well. Aloy's done that more than once. The Old Ones didn't struggle to beat them back cuz they were hard to fight - they struggled because for every one they defeated another two showed up. Because instead of one or two it was hundreds, probably even *thousands*.
I wish they would at least put something in there to actually amaze the explorer... like a small statue/drawing/item that makes you go:" hey, so there was something special about this place! And 'I' have found it." :D Ty for the video
If there is nothing there, I believe it was a discoverable glitch that they left there to make the players proud to found it. I have friends of mine who are studying game production and he told me is easier to leave it like that then delete the entire glitch specially in a game like this which is an open world. The programmers prefer to create like an iceberg hidden world
"Finally, after two years, have I found the secret cave of the Nora! I will be famous! Wait, there seems to be a bag here.. Strange.. *opens it* It's socks. wow.
(6 months later) Seems, there is nothing here, but has been visited before. After some exploring I find a stash! It is empty- wait, three socks and a note with several names under the title "I was here!" Were these hunters before me? (Adds my name and leaves)
Love this game still have it. Love the music, graphics, game play mechanics and overall the heart moving story line. Can't wait for the sequel to come out.
And... A great variety of weapons. Possible tactics. Best nights of games I've ever seen. Very beautiful forests. First time it feels like an archery. Perfect bows.
I'm pretty sure someone mentioned this game was originally like 20 times larger than it ended up being, however they had to scale it back drastically. This must have been a small portion of what they cut from the final game. Cannot wait for part 2.
The Nora go through this cave during the race at the proving trial, while Aloy goes on another path. You can visit it before and after the quest. Cheers Brian! ✌🏻:)🏹🌞
Obviously couldn't be 20 times laters and the devs who know the limits of the hardware would already know it wasn't plausible. Therefor rumor was likely just a rumor. Unless they consider doing multiple dlcs or live service for the next 10 years instead of a sequel.
Imagine having such dedication to a game that you literally considered someone glitching out of the map to find a sock on the beginning of the game, gg devs
Boss - We need to add in some kind of hidden place for people to find or something like that Employer - ,Let's add a hidden cave with nothing but snow Boss - Your promoted
This game is amazing, what Guerrilla Games will be able to do with the vastly improved hardware on PS5 are going to shock a lot of people IMO. The CPU in PS5 is ridiculously more capable than what was in PS4 and PS4 Pro, things like Machine Learning and large data storage, with fast access are going to make it possible for massive, truly dynamic species interaction between the wildlife in the world of Horizon. The environments should be on another level in terms of how weather changes the landscapes. I can't wait to see this game when Guerrilla Games are ready to show it on PS5, hopefully that will be next Thursday or maybe they hold off and show their other project first, still this studio will be able to do some amazing things with the hardware of PS5.
you can find a place with two skelletons near the southern Tallneck. you need to ride it till you can jump to the edge. you will find w skelletons holding hands and an unlit fire. also a potion.
Loved HZD but I kinda wish the sequel will have more variability with how choices affect outcome. Still, gorgeous game with good story with only minor bugs. Earns a 9.5/10 in my book
Totally agree with you, it would be awesome if we could interact with the environment more. Cheers SeBatman02!! 🤘🏻🏹🍻 Btw your profile picture is brutal hahahaha! :D
Love this game but there some flaws that just really frustrated me. Saving at a campfire doesn't get you to full health. Annoying health regen system where you have to spend a lot of time picking medicinal herbs instead of just picking a 2 or 3 to refill your pouch. And the climbing system is not great coz sometimes it's hard to see climbable cliff witch could easily be fixed using focus to see. All of these can just be fixed with a patch but it's not. Lets hope the seqeul they fix this.
I love this game. Scenario is excellent.Lot of hours . Reminds me my favorite Lara Croft. The only regret is that we can’t eradicate machines. If you kill them in a place, and leave it, they are here again when you come back.
@@gabbysepsik8090 Yeah but it would be cool it you could just play in a mode where machines don't respawn, so after you killed all of them you can walk through the world just living in peace and chillin in the nature without a combat or the battle music interrupting it
I remember playing the mission where you had to fight alot of robots to get to the mountain (corruptors and thunderjaws). I was too scared to fight them all idk why so i decided to try and go to it by going on the edge and jumping rooftops, it worked! This game is and always will be one of my favourites. Truly amazing.
Bag of chips, thanks, that was my auto correct. For some reason when I type misspell here by one letter it auto corrects to hear. It actually does this for alot of words:D
@@someadventuretimefan5089 stupid autocucumber, i always think it's gonna do that Fail thing to me and sneak out an embarrassing text somehow. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I was amazed when I found the Brave trail in the game, like, it's not instanced, it is a part of the world, and you kinda can return there. But the fact that Guerilla made the entirety of Old Brave trail in-game as well is just stunning.
Best game I may have ever played.. most certainly up there. It was one of the last games where I felt fully immersed into the world, where I could truly adventure around and find cool places and things. The 2nd game is the reason I'm buying the PS5.
I actually love this video! Thank you for showing me this. I’ve been playing and completing the game for so long now that all I have left to do while I wait for part two to be released is to do things like this where I go exploring. If you know of any other good places please post them!
Thank you G.J. H! check out my other videos, you might like other places I've visited, I'll keep trying to cover as many cool spots as I can. Let's keep exploring this brutiful world. :D Cheers
Do the day / night lighting cycles affect cave areas where there are still visible openings? If so, It'd be rad to see the night-time version. It would also be interesting so see this cave mapped out in god mode -- perhaps from above. You could even 3D-view the socks ;) Still waiting to hear about easter eggs within Death Stranding that allude to Horizon. Looking forward to Horizon on PC at 1440p with an ultrawide monitor at 120 fps with minor ray-tracing goodies. Nice video, stay cool.
when i played witcher 3, i thought to myself that its the best game ever created and playing other games will never feel the same anymore. Thanks to this game it proved me wrong
now that i think about it.. remember that side quest "The Forgotten" with that man that heard voices? he said he would go to a cave in a mountain. maybe it's this one. or another one idk but i've always wanted to know where it was!
I remember yeah, but this is the path that the Nora take at the proving trial. :) Not sure where that cave could be, but I'll keep exploring the area. Great weekend L ! ✌🏻🏹🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
This cave is at The Proving(fifth main quest in the game)area. The Nora go through this cave during the Brave Trail race, while Aloy crosses an old crumbling trail. You can go back to the cave and explore it anytime, you can go there even before The Proving quest. Cheers. ✌🏻:D🏹☀️
@@Diverdjent whoa...so this is the proving cave.... I thought it is the cave that mentioned by Brom....that guy who hear the spirit....after we finish his quest he talk about waiting Aloy if she want come by in his cave near all mother.... Since then, I never find it....
@@karenannhoumark2001 It's actually very interesting when you know what to do and how. Even for the ultra. The only place made for "luck" is "open the scarab cases". Rarely do you get through the first 3-4 attempts.
The only trophy I’m missing is the damn dummies one lol I managed to get all of them except that one in my first run. This game is awesome! Can’t wait for the new one.
I logged I don't know how many hours into this game and love exploring for things like this and I never knew about this... I have failed myself. Time to replay before Forbidden West comes out.
I got the PS4 not long ago and discovered this game was years old! I got exited and started googling the second instalment but was so sad as it wasn’t out. Damn,,,
It can't be that far off, bare in mind that this game was announced less than 2 years after Guerrilla finishes Killzone Shadow Fall, yet they've unquestionably been working on a sequel to Horizon for a good 3 years by now, without even revealing the game. With HZD2 they aren't working from nothing, they spent a good 2 years or longer mapping out the lore of the Horizon Universe before they even began full development on the PS4 game. They've likely vastly enhanced their engine to take advantage of the PS5's awesome new hardware features that PS4 doesn't have. When the sequel to Horizon is announced it will probably be something truly amazing to behold. Most likely HZD2 will be one of the games shown at the PS5 game event next Thursday and could potentially be a launch game coming out with the console this Christmas, so not too long too wait.
Epic :) spend great time getting to this spot, cold and soggy feet and all; no socks... Should have read the comments first 🤣 Loved the exploring, great vid! Thanks :)
It looks like it's in the proving path. Also looks like some unfinished stuff : maybe there was a quest or errand scheduled there, but canceled for some reason, so the entrance is decorated, but nothing inside. There could at least be some stuff to grab there. Just a wild guess, I know. Kinda cool anyway, I never knew there was something to explore up there.
It is at the Proving area yeah, I just wanted to go back and see if I could enter the cave. Left you some warm socks in there if you need. Cheers RafoCDBS! :)
@@RafoCDBS We pass right by the cave's entrance at the beginning of the run, the Nora go through it, while Aloy takes another path. If you try entering during the quest, game will black out the screen and kill Aloy, preventing us from getting inside at that moment. You can enter before and after the Proving quest. ✌🏻:)🏹🌞
One thing I wish they would add in the sequel is that major NPCs would notice we changed outfits. Say u changed from a Nora outfit to a banuk outfit, then sylens would say something that acknowledge that.
Hola dchegu! ✌🏻🏹✨ Agree 100% with you. :D I noticed that sometimes it happens depending on which quests you have completed, for example, Banuk will notice you have become Banuk Chieftain even if you are not wearing the outfit, or like at the beginning that no matter which outfit you wear, they call you Outcast. Hope they include/improve that in Forbidden West yeah. Good weekend, cheers. 🤘🏻🏹🌞
the forbidden west hype is so real that i just replayed this game for the fourth time, but i have never found my way up here. i might have to find aloy a nice pair and a half of socks when i get the game on pc 😉
No, that's The Naming Cliff above Mother's Heart, I've been two years trying to get in there. :) This is at The Proving trial area, The Nora go through this cave while Aloy takes an alternative path at the beginning of the game. Cheers Simon! ✌🏻🏹🌞
I really hope that HZD2 is as great or greater than the first release. I borrowed my friend's ps4 to play it and now saving for ps5. I KNOW THERE WILL NOT BE ONE SINGLE REGRET!!!
Nope, nothing, The Nora go through this cave during the race at The Proving trial, while Aloy goes on another path. I left you some warm socks in there if you need. Cheers BeastModeJelly!! ✌🏻🏹☀️🍻
@@Diverdjent but, wasn't the proving more to the north west of that area?,I don't remember seeing the tentacles during the gameplay. I believe the developers thought about making some sort of cualdron in that area but changed their mind cause young aloy finds the focus near there, and they forgot to remove the remaining structures. Could be the proving path, who knows the developers minds? Nice find still
I think I found this area before and if you go too deep in a certain direction it send you back to your last save point like crossing the border of the game map
I don't have a good PC for gaming at the moment, just my standard PS4, but I would love to see some crazy mods or more out of bounds stuff in PC yeah. Can't wait to go to The Forbidden West. Cheers Nighthawke70! 🤘🏻:)🏹🌞
@@heavenlysteel8337 Yep. I grew up in Colorado, and the first playthrough when Aloy leaves the Embrace the first time and I saw the rusted out ruins of the Air Force Academy Chapel I almost screamed. Suddenly I realized where the name "Nora" came from. I spent the rest of the game looking for familiar landmarks (I've been to a lot of the Utah locations, as well.) The developers did a phenomenal job.
