My cousin Rashidra Scott played the main muses girl with the big Afro with the puffs to it. I remember going on the cruise to see her in that back in 2008 for its premiere 💜💜💜✨so happy to see my cousin in these clips

I remember seeing this musical when I was a kid. This video reminded be of parts of it like the Zeus and Hera puppets and how insane Pain and Panic were. The one thing that has stuck with me however after all these years was Hades like aggressively telling the joke “Why do kids eat their boogers? Because they won’t eat their broccoli!” And the chorus of groans from the audience. …I got your Sutton Foster joke.

I love learning about all these cruise musicals, and I would have LOVED this if I got to see it in person. Hercules is one of my fave Disney movies and I am really hoping all the productions that have happened recently mean it’s coming to Broadway

The Muse-ical was really well done. Very true to the animated film’s spirit. Especially when the Hades was on point. The Muses always had amazing voices… I saw Jennifer Hudson in 2004 as one of the Muses before she was on American Idol.

I just binge watched the Hercules cartoon series on D+, and somehow the Hades in this musical reminds me of the episode where Icarus plays Hades in a school play. Basically they're both playing James Woods playing Hades by going completely over the top. And damn straight they should do more with Hercules. It's pretty underrated as far as the 90's movies go, even with ALL that merchandise and said cartoon series.

I saw this for the first time back in 1998 and Hades had a non-wig version that had FIRE that exploded from the top of his head! Not surprised they cut that safety hazard. I have that version of the show on video, as well as the pirate musical they ran for only a few months. It had an entire ship on stage!

Please do a video on Island Magic. This was a little show done by the Fab5 and friends in the Buena Vista Theatre. And was all about the characters preparing for guest arrival to a Castaway Cay. With Goofy literally combing the beaches with a giant hair comb. It was such a funny little show and I loved it. It was still running in early 2004 I believe.

I LOVE this show! I have never seen it but there was a clip on RU-vid at the beginning of RU-vid of hades explaining how he’s gonna rule the cosmos and I swear I repeat it to this day. Can no longer find that specific clip since the words changed so often
