I need my skeletal remains turned into an animatronic and synced to a recording of me talking about the human bone structure and what legs do. I'm going to make sure that happens.
"Welcome to DisneyWorld." Meanwhile the player piano plays the Mickey Mouse Club theme from the sixties as you step off the Dumbo Train. Kids place the Mulan Cricket on top of a man's head and Snow White's apple falls to the ground awaiting for a gentleman to pick it up.
looks like something that was taken out of the far future....I was expecting this level of realism in movement in robots only to exist 30 years from now...and it already exists ! just wow the future is already here, crazy !
Walt Disney Imagineering has been fabricating its own electronically-controlled and mechanically-animated puppets since the 1960's. The group really invented the medium, but, lately, Disney has been ordering some of its figures and show-action equipment from third parties in order to save money.
I wonder why the folks who do this sorta stuff never manage to touch base with the folks building the walking-around robots like Atlas or ASIMO. The mannequins are always static pieces and the practical walking robots are blank-faced automatons. What's it gonna take for the two to finally meet?
Unlikely to ever happen but wouldn't be amazing if a toy company was to release a simplified version of this as a building kit? Robotics and animatronics have always fascinated me!
Probably just neutrally buoyant. If you get the ratio between air and weight just right, they'll sit there without floating up or sinking down. The cables for the actual mechanics to make them move are hidden in the 'umbilical cord'.
Rovert shaman - a person regarded as having access to, and influence in, the world of good and evil spirits the animatronic in the video is the shaman of the na'vi race NOT SHADMAN
theyve certainly mastered the art of natural motion in robots....trully impressive, now only if it could be integrated in realistic looking regular human beings....and also it has to be cheap, it sure is expensive but hopefully the price tag of this tech will lower down at some point in the future.
personally I think Mo'at's animatronic did her justice and its absolutely wonderful to see such a close up of her. I wish there were more animatronics like her and Jake in World of Pandora, like one of Neytiri
What if ... Disney actually made mass-produced synths for the theme parks instead of animatronics? I would def not go there because of Westworld vibes, geez.
These things are probably not intelligent however there are robots out there with AI and they are getting smarter every year. Check out Sophia if you haven’t done so already
Wow! That was amazing! I believe there is no need for so much detail on the teeth or some features that guests will never notice in low light and at a distance. They should take care of the facial expressions more, rather than pay to much attention to the teeth, in my opinion... Anyway, You have a new subscriber to your channel :-)
I went to pandora it was amazing expassially that ride it felt like you were flying it even felt the the banchees you were riding were breathing it was life like i could not keep my mouth closed it was breath taking i kept thinking oh wow, its heavan in a floating island, well it only seems like its floating.
