I'm staying in this room for my recovery after I have my elective surgery in the lobby next week. Can't wait until I get to get the limited edition 50th anniversary Earadescent sutures!

Hmmm... Looks a lot more bland and generic now than when we stayed at French Quarter in 2014 for our honeymoon. That's unfortunate. One of my pet peeves is when a hotel has really beautiful and interesting public spaces but boring, generic rooms. French Quarter actually avoided that, but it looks like that's changed.

Headboard - even compared to AKL? I love those. Can’t wait to go back in December. Love the Fleur de Lis touches in the decor in this room

Can you get roll always? I have three teens that won’t sleep with one another. Dad and I got a separate room but no one wants to sleep in the room with us. Hubby snores so I get it.

Maybe when they redo Splash Mountain to Princess and the Frog we'll get a New Orleans sq. there?? Oh, and I noticed you said "cool beans" at one point, are you originally from Massachusetts?

Tom you are so right, the darker woods & vanity area anchor the room. It doesn’t look like an IKEA floor demo like at lot of the resort make overs. We have always loved Port Orleans Resort. We sleep at the French Quarter. We play at Riverside or boat to the Springs. Big Easy.

Favorite moderate. The hidden Mickey beads are actually a regular thing from before the pandemic. Glad to see them still doing it.

It makes more sense to have the shelf and safe in the bathroom instead of a clunky wooden unit. Looks great! Staying there a few days in January!

I stayed at the Yacht Club in December, it is refurbished and has no usb ports or outlets in the nightstand, no shelves in shower, no shaving ledge in shower, no ceiling fan and no way to turn off the lights from in bed….this moderate room has all those things for less than half the price.

Pretty, but needs a bit more pizzaz and definitely some toilet art. Love the chocolate brown & dusty blue color scheme. My mind can not see the frogs in that chair fabric 👀

We had the Mickey cups at Pop Century last week!!! Love French Quarter, stayed there a couple times!!! I think it is Carabiean Beach in 2023!!! I like your videos, very informative!
