I've always wanted to do this video, but what really motivated to do it was one of the more recent and definitely one of the greatest episodes of the Nostalgia Critic, where he reviews all 13 of the Disney Afternoon shows in one excellent episode. It was awesome hearing him say stuff like Gummi Bears was pretty enjoyable, and calling the Rescue Rangers great characters. I didn't completely agree with his opinion on each show but it was still one of his best episodes ever, and a long time coming because the DA had some of the best cartoons ever. Funny thing is, I never saw the Disney Afternoon growing up. I mean I saw every show on it besides the Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show as a kid & loved all of them except for Quack Pack (The only good part of that show was Daisy & Ludwig Von Drake. They should have been recurring characters on Ducktales.), but I never saw more than 2 of them back-to-back on TV. Anyways, here's a music video with my top 10 Disney Afternoon shows set to the DA opening theme and reprise, complete with a countdown at the end. If you're curious as to why I put each show where I did, I will post the reasons why in the description eventually, and that’s if I don’t do a review video first. I am very satisfied with this remake, as I wasn’t able to give Ducktales its due last time, and while I kept most of the scenes the same the ones I changed were for the better. I think that this is one of my top 10 videos. To be honest, I would count my favorite Disney Afternoon shows as my second favorite cartoon ever after my ideal Toonami (I cheat a lot when it comes to my favorite shows by combining multiple series into 1 spot so I can squeeze more into my top 10). I definitely think this is worthy of being my 40th video.
This video was made using Windows Live Movie Maker. The footage came from the official DVD sets whenever possible, but some of the Gummi Bears, Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck clips as well as all the scenes from Bonkers, Aladdin, Timon & Pumbaa and Mighty Ducks came from uploads by other people on RU-vid. I forgot who I got most of them from, but credit for the Timon & Pumbaa clips goes to tandpfan & Anti Riku. Credit for the music goes to ThePeacekeeperj3l. I do not own the rights to the Disney Afternoon shows. If I did then they would all be available on DVD, even the ones I don’t like.

I personally never cared for Quack Pack, but I'm glad you liked it. I liked Daisy and Ludwig Von Drake in it though. If they had been recurring characters on Ducktales doing the exact same thing, then DT would have been a significantly better show.

Tom Armstrong They weren't aired under the Disney Afternoon name, and even if they were they would not have made my top 10 list. I respect your opinion, but I don't particularly care for either show. I used to love the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but it hasn't aged nearly as well as most of the DA for me. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. It's one of the best pre-school cartoons ever and I wish that Disney would release the complete series on DVD so that when I have kids they can watch it, but it's not the sort of cartoon I can say that I enjoy as an adult. And I never liked the Little Mermaid series. The movie is my favorite Disney movie apart from Beauty & the Beast, but I always found the series to be boring. It's a prequel, so any amount of tension instantly vanishes when you remember that things have to turn out okay, otherwise there wouldn't be a movie. I have to admit that the episode which showed how she met Scuttles was pretty good (he's one of my favorite Disney sidekicks), but that's the only thing I like about it.

I can see why you don't like "The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show" and "Quack Pack", but what about the "Pith Possum" and "Tex Tinstar" segments? Surely, they were left out when there were promos for "Shnookums & Meat". I like the "Pith Possum" and "Tex Tinstar" shorts, do you?

I never said that I didn't like the Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show. I never even heard about it until the Disney Afternoon episode of the Nostalgia Critic. I didn't like what I saw, but I looked it up on Wikipedia anyways and learned that it was a show with three different shorts, and that the Nostalgia Critic skipped over Pith Possum and Tex Tinstar shorts for some reason. Since then, I have heard several other people talk about how the other 2 shorts were much better than the titular ones. I will try them eventually, and I'll let you know what I think about them.

Oh. Sorry that I thought about that. ^^; Besides, the "Pith Possum" and "Tex Tinstar" shorts are spectacular to watch, and they make me think that they should have been developed into a show called "The Pith Possum & Tex Tinstar Action Program".

Andrew Steiner I have tried them, and I really like them too. Thank you very much for telling me about these cartoons and posting most of the episodes. I agree that they should have been developed into a show without the Shnookums and Meat shorts. Which do you like better, Pith Possum or Tex Tinstar? Pith Possum is great, but Tex Tinstar is my personal favorite. It is consistently hilarious; plus the serialized nature makes me want to watch all of it. Just so you know, taegdv uploaded the shorts for the 11th episode of S&MFCS. The quality is poor, but I’ll take what I can get. If I find the 4 episodes you don’t have (and a good quality version of episode 11), I will let you know. I really hope Disney releases this show on DVD. I’d buy it for Pith Possum and Tex Tinstar, and never watch the Shnookums and Meat shorts. I don’t know if I would call it one of my top 10 Disney Afternoon shows, but it’s at least #11. Thanks to the Pith Possum and Tex Tinstar segments, this show is funnier and more memorable than Goof Troop and Quack Pack.

Oh, you are very most welcome, my friend! :D I like the "Pith Possum" segments, because of the cool settings, the Batman/Superman-like formula, and even some of the characters themselves, most notably, Doris Deer.
