Yeah, but technically, he DID care about his son. Let me explain. He was too afraid to see his son feel hurt after the “sky falling acorn” incident, and he misses his wife, he didn’t want to be blamed by society one too many times, he was feeling worried that his son would lose the game, but he was happy when he won. Later with the alien ship leaving, Buck wanted to believe him, but everyone was eyeing him angrily so he said “No, son…I don’t.” I know he believed him on the inside. And later with Chicken Little’s confrontation, it was revealed that he was a bit of a struggling parent. Like Rapunzel said “Struggling is pointless.” Buck did say “Your mom was always good with stuff like this. But me…I’m gonna need a lot of work. But you need to know that I *LOVE* you, no matter what. And I’m sorry…I’m sorry if I ever made you feel like that was something you had to earn.” And when they were returning Kirby, he defended his son by fighting the aliens, and finally trusted him! Like it or not, Chicken Little is my childhood.
Most of this is SO accurate! Especially Luca, Turning Red, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Bonus: I don’t know, (I forgot), what type of section this is in, but The Choosey Hag scene reminds me of
6:43 See, it's accurate because Josh Cooley ripped apart everything that made the Toy Story franchise epic and everyone who had any sort of connection towards the trilogy is watching in pure fear.
I love how you really have to know the movies to get the references. A lot of these I've seen, and a lot of them I haven't. The Zootopia one is probably my favorite one. "I'm an otter! With a dark side." 😂
At 4:42 there seems to be a card on the left with a moon and a bit took out of the moon to represent the nose part of a face which is on the right side of the card.
How Emperor's New Groove wasn't Emperor Belos being petty towards Kiki or Lilith surprises me. Although with Luz being a beta-Mirabel, her announcing The Owl House is rather fitting.
Dude, when making portrayed by videos, you don’t have to use clips to describe movies based on criticisms and opinions on them, nobody asking for that, might want to rethink that buddy.
um.. owl house came before turning red and Encanto tho- the Encanto "reference" was in season 1 episode 1 which came in 2020 while Encanto came in 2021 and turning red "Reference" came in season 2 episode 8 which was in 2021 while turning red came in 2022
@@itzmehDevi It's a joke. They're not intentional references on the part of the show creators, but the video maker/editor humorously voicing their opinions on the films in question using Owl House clips they think evoke similar feelings and/or commentary. The intended response from the audience is "Yeah, haha, this does humorously represent this film if you think about it a certain way!" This is a very common practice on RU-vid, as there are many creators on the platform editing clips from their favorite shows as a way to comment on unrelated media.
