This is one of the best live arrangements I’ve ever seen for a classic Disney Cartoon. If this was in a new Fantasia film, I want this to play during the intermission.
Speaking of that, here's what I think should be the next Fantasia film. This is just a Fanfic, so don't judge anything, you can leave any suggestions with a reply. Title: Fantasia Forever First Half Funeral For A Friend / TBA - Elton John/TBA Clair De Lune - Claude Debussy An American in Paris - George Girshwin The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Paul Dukas Voices of Spring (a.k.a. Dances of the Goofys) - Richard Strauss Intermission - The Band Concert (A Recreation of the Classic Cartoon) Second Half (Soundtrack's Return) Peter and the Wolf - Sergei Prokofiev String Quartet #2 in D Major: 3rd Movement: Nottruno (Adante) (a.k.a. The Little Matchgirl) - Alexander Borodin Scheherazade - Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov Symphony No. 9 in D. Minor - Ludwig Van Beethoven What do you think? Do you have something in mind? Let me know. Think of something that would fit with FFAF.
@@jaythebillz9543 i wanted to make a Warner Bros/cartoon network version called "a cartoon network concerto" Featuring... Light cavalry overture - Franz von Suppé Eine Kleine Nachtmusik - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Peer Gynt suite no. 1 - Edvard Grieg Boléro - Maurice Ravel The blue danube waltz (a.k.a. the ugly duckling, played by Baby Daffy Duck) - Johann Strauss ii Carmen suite no. 1 - Georges Bizet The nutcracker suite - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky The firebird suite - Igor Stravinsky But i decided to scrap it and change it into "pictures at a cartoon network exhibition" Based on Modest Mussorgsky's piano piece, later orchestrated by Maurice Ravel, "pictures at an exhibition"
This band is incredible! Aside from a few instances, this band was so perfectly in sync with the cartoon that I almost thought it was the original 1935 soundtrack being played (the original cartoon itself is a major part of my childhood and holds a special place in my heart as one of my earliest experiences with Disney cartoons through my family’s copy of the “the spirit of Mickey” VHS tape, which my brother and I watched multiple times as very young children). The only thing that would have made this already amazing performance even better is if they had asked Tony Anselmo to come and read Donald’s lines from the cartoon during the performance.
One of the greatest cartoons ever made! The live accompaniment is admirable - but the distorted horizontal squeeze of the image (to fit a 16 x 9 display) is inexcusable.
As a matter of fact, in all 3 cartoons, this one, Mickey's polo team and Hawaiian Holiday, Mickey is silent. That means he doesn't speak but people can see Donald in this cartoon. It's not nice to interrupt during a concert. My advice for Donald is to wait patiently or until they're finished. But for Donald, a good scare might help him get rid of the hiccups.
2:09, 2:28, 2:41, 3:18 & 3:41 Donald played Do your ears hang low song on his flute interrupting Mickey's band concert then Mickey go brake his first and second flute but third one he break it himself then forth one, goofy stretch his trombone on donald and shake him around til all his flutes came out of nowhere but his shirt
@SGCandSGYProductions The trombone scene was my most favorite part out of all those 4 scenes with Donald and his flute! I think Goofy was like: "OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" and while he was shaking Donald with his trombone and realizing that Donald had several flutes hidden on his shirt, I think he was like: "YOU AIN'T MESSING UP OUR PERFORMANCE THIS TIME!!!" and I think he threw Donald out of the stage like: "GET THE HELL OFF OUR STAGE!!!" You see what I did there! I use Steve Wilkos' iconic "GET THE HELL OFF MY STAGE!!!" quote and change it to: "GET THE HELL OFF OUR STAGE!!!"
As you can see from the video board of the concert at 3:19-3:26, the scene where the trombone guy grab Donald with his trombone by the neck, that scene made me laugh! 😂 The trombone guy was like: "OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" and while he was shaking Donald and discovering that he had several flutes hidden from him, I think he was like: "YOU AIN'T MESSING UP OUR PERFORMANCE THIS TIME!!!" And I think he kick him outta the stage like: "GET THE HELL OFF OUR STAGE!!!" You see what I did there! I use Steve Wilkos' iconic "GET THE HELL OFF MY STAGE!!!" quote and changed it to "GET THE HELL OFF OUR STAGE!!!".
I remember this cartoon. People should know that this is the color cartoon that Mickey mouse starred in after the black and white cartoon Mickey's service Station.
