The 2nd logo reuses footage (the kids jumping through the filmstrips) from the Zoog era. They just added the 2002-2007 Disney Channel logo, removed all the Zoog references and changed the music. I remember it originally had “It’s the right time for a Zoog Movie, yeah!”
I’m legitimately angry that they barely air movies anymore 😨. And what happened to the DCOMS? This is why I stopped watching TV earlier than I should have . I miss the 2009 intro.
Disney+ happened. In fact, several Disney Channels around the world (plus FOX in the UK and Ireland) have been shut down in the past year in favor of the service being Disney’s main distribution method.
I always loved the transforming limo on the hill top. Your own personal outdoor movie theater. The beautiful evening sky, I always wished it was real! The location & setup is such a vibe. ✨️💫
What really pisses me off is that there hasn’t been a DCOM based on a Disney Channel series in 10 years! Here’s a list of movies they should’ve made: Austin and Ally: The Movie Dog With a Blog: The Movie The Jessie Movie A.N.T. Farm: The Movie Gravity Falls: The Movie Liv and Maddie. The Movie And Shake It Up: Made in Japan should’ve been a DCOM
Descendants 3 was like Disney channel’s “we did it your all grown up now it’s time to give the other kids a chance now but don’t forget to visit” and I feel like Cameron Boyce really help open my eyes the year I ironically turned 18 the year I had my first drink lol I wanna thank Disney so much
I miss the older rebrands of Disney Channel. I started to watch it in 2012, that was my childhood, and I miss that times. In 2014 the logo changed and it was rebranded, but it didn't lose any of the channel's magic... The 2014 rebrand was nice. And if the logo (and the rebrand) is changed in 2014,then why don't we have the 2014 rebrand, instead the stupid one what we have now. I think Disney Channel has died in 2017. :( (And just the same happened with Boomerang in 2015)
@@smophie6260 that logo is not really that much new anymore. I think it debuted in 2014. At the time, I was only 10 years old and now I am 17 going on 18. My childhood is almost over 😢
@@josephnieves4068 I mean it’s still the same logo as they use now just modified slightly so that’s what I meant, I’m a child of the Mickey ears generation so anything after that seems newer to me

2:54 was my first encounter when I was finished watching a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and then a Disney Channel movie is about to begin and the first movie I watched in my own home is none other than Bolt! And at 6:13, it was my first encounter when I was about watch the first Ice Age movie and this is the exact logo introduction that I remembered when I was a kid. Ahh... I miss my childhood and I want it back.

Disney channel truly was litteral magic I was here for every thing but the 90s but I started early 2000s and I forgot why I was obsessed with this specific channel it was an honest escape from reality and always will be for me atleast the Disney I grew up on will ❤️🖤💙

I wish they aired more movies. Its just the same shows all the time. Disney had so many great movies that noone airs, why dont they air them on the disney channel? At least now theres disney+ so I can FINALLY watch almost all of these old movies.
