Disney Cruise Embarkation Day - Halloween on the High Seas 2022 - Disney Wonder

Disney actually only owns/manages the Port Canaveral location, that is the current home of the Wish and the Fantasy ships. All the other places the ships leave from like Miami, New York, San Diego, New Orleans, etc. are just normal ports owned/managed by that city or county. But like I mentioned you only are briefly in the Port so its no big deal the real fun begins once you are on the ship. And Animator's palate was a blast, I'm totally fine with a dessert mistake every now and again haha.

A short Disney Cruise is better then no Disney Cruise 😁 so I think you will have a great time in Dec! And maybe it will get your family hooked too! I loved Tiana's Palace and the Frozen musical was awesome. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Hope you have a WONDERFUL time! We had so much fun. Make sure to enjoy the shows in the Walt Disney Theater, if you see multiple things on the menu you like don't hesitate to order both items at Dinner, and make use of room service (most of the items are included in the price of your cruise) and are perfect for an afternoon or late night snack.

@@EricD thanks for the tips. One question. Do I need to show proof of vaccination if it's uploaded to website already?

If you uploaded your vaccine info and got the "clear to arrive" or "clear to sail" status you do NOT have to show your vaccine card. I would recommend taking a picture of your vaccine card and keeping it on your phone just in case... but you shouldn't have to show it as long as the website said clear to arrive or clear to sail.

That is a small world! So fun that we will have both been on the Dream and the Wonder this year. And if your son is Aaron he did EXCELLENT in each show. He really did great in each of the roles he portrayed. (If your son isn't Aaron I'm guessing he still did great, but Aaron is the one that comes to mind from being on the Dream earlier this year. Haha) I hope you get to see the Dolphins too! We started to spot them not too long after we were outside the port of San Diego and finally on to open water. Thanks Gina it was a very fun adventure and I'm excited to share the next few vlogs. The Dolphins were SO awesome to see. There were so many of them! That would be very cool to see a Orca! I hope to go on an Alaska Cruise at some point. Hope you're doing well!

It was fun to see the Dolphins! The cookie wasn't great... Just ok. All the other items were really good. The Golden Mickey's is one of the three Broadway style musicals they have on this ship. The show has musical numbers from shows like Tarzan, Snow White, Princess and the Frog, etc. It was a lot of fun. The nice thing about cruises are they can largely cater to what your interests are so I enjoy the food and the characters... Others love game shows, trivia, swimming, drink tasting, etc. So there are a ton of activities on the ship I have never even been to because I'm busy doing other stuff I enjoy. Thanks for watching.

The cruise was awesome and the Golden Mickey's was the perfect way to start our first night in the Walt Disney Theater. And if you can pass along to Ensign Benson that when she joined in singing, "Blue skies and Sunshine..." it took the song to the next level! AMAZING!
